What ±5 seconds per year means here
Citizen specifies annual accuracy of ±5 seconds for both Caliber A060 models. That is the manufacturer’s specification, not a result from independent testing or a measured sample watch. Neither edition is presented as more accurate than the other: the stated figure is the same for both.
Citizen describes the A060 as a light-powered Eco-Drive movement. The global announcement states an 18-month run time on a full charge when the watch is in power-save mode. Treat both figures as manufacturer specifications, not a guarantee of identical real-world performance in every wearer’s conditions. Citizen’s announcement gives the accuracy and power-reserve details.

AQ4100-65X: red paper dial and bracelet
The AQ4100-65X pairs a crimson Tosa Tengujoshi paper dial with a Super Titanium case and bracelet treated with Duratect Platinum. Citizen’s global release lists 300 pieces worldwide and a projected price of USD 3,000; the US product page displayed USD 2,995 when accessed on 7 October 2026.
AQ4106-00B: white washi and crocodile strap

Edition quantities and prices need a market check
There is a conflict in Citizen’s own quantity information for the red AQ4100-65X: the global release and global model material state 300 pieces worldwide, while the US product page says 350. The figures should not be combined or treated as settled across regions. For a worldwide edition count, the global release’s 300-piece figure is the clearest primary statement; buyers who need confirmation should check the current regional listing or ask Citizen.
The global release calls USD 3,000 and USD 3,100 projected prices, while the US pages list USD 2,995 and USD 3,095. These are market-specific figures, not a promise of a universal selling price. The global announcement scheduled launch for October 2026, so a scheduled release should not be mistaken for confirmed stock in every market. Check the relevant official page for current availability: AQ4100-65X or AQ4106-00B.

What both watches share
Both references have a 38.3 mm case, Caliber A060 Eco-Drive, a perpetual calendar, and stated water resistance of 10 bar. Their headline distinction is therefore not a different accuracy rating or movement feature set; it is the dial treatment, case finish, band type, and associated regional price and edition count.
Citizen describes the collection’s aim as “The CITIZEN watches are created as part of CITIZEN’s pursuit of the essence of the watch, offering both superior quality and outstanding accuracy.” That is corporate wording from its 17 September 2026 announcement, rather than a named individual’s assessment.
