What the Tsuno Chrono revives
The Tsuno Chrono reproduces the distinctive profile of Citizen’s 1973 Challenge Timer. Its chronograph pushers sit at 12 o’clock, projecting from the top of the case like horns; that arrangement explains the Japanese nickname “Tsuno Chrono.” Citizen’s official collection description calls the design a revival of the “Chronograph Challenge Timer.”

The new overseas references are quartz watches, not the numbered Eco-Drive anniversary edition announced separately for Japan. The Bullhead layout puts the start/stop and reset controls above the dial, while the crown remains at the opposite side of the case. That geometry is the defining visual distinction from conventional side-pusher chronographs.
The four reported overseas colorways
The following list comes from the September 30, 2026 community report. Citizen has not published matching official confirmation, technical sheets or final regional pricing for these four references.

Because the report does not establish case dimensions, water resistance, crystal, bracelet or strap specifications, those details should not be inferred from the reference numbers. Buyers should check the regional Citizen listing and warranty paperwork once each model is formally posted.
Which Tsuno Bullhead models are already documented overseas?
The four AN3714 references are not the only Tsuno-related watches outside Japan. Citizen’s US website lists the quartz AN3700-62A and AN3700-54E. In February 2026, Notebookcheck reported that Citizen Australia introduced AN3700-89Z and AN3660-73X as updated quartz versions of the 1973 Bullhead design. These reports indicate that the overseas expansion covers more than one Tsuno case or reference family.

The AN3660-81A has also reached Europe and the US Amazon marketplace, according to The Gadgeteer, which described it as an accessible modern Bullhead option. Citizen’s official collection page lists AN3660-81E and AN3660-81A. Availability differs by country, and a marketplace listing can change independently of Citizen’s regional inventory.
How the affordable quartz watches differ from the anniversary model
Citizen’s separate Promaster Eco-Drive 50th-anniversary Tsuno Chrono is reference AV0104-06W. Citizen Watch Japan announced it for September 10, 2026, at a suggested retail price of ¥187,000 (¥170,000 before tax). Production is limited to 5,000 pieces worldwide, so it is not one of the four reported AN3714 launches.

The AV0104-06W draws on sports-car styling Citizen associates with 1976, the year it says it launched the world’s first light-powered analogue watch. Citizen identifies 2026 as Eco-Drive’s 50th anniversary. Its larger, sapphire-equipped case and limited production place it in a different segment from the unpriced, standard quartz AN3714 reports.

Yes, some Tsuno references have documented US distribution. Citizen’s US catalog lists AN3700-62A and AN3700-54E, while AN3660-81A has been reported on US Amazon and in Europe. That does not confirm that every AN3714 colorway is available in the United States.
