The standard PACE 4 is lighter and has a smaller 1.2-inch AMOLED screen. Both are listed at 11.8 mm thick and use 22 mm quick-release bands. The practical choice comes down to whether you value the Pro’s display and materials or the standard model’s lower listed weight—and which battery mode you use.

What changes in the display and materials?
PACE 4: smaller screen and lighter configurations
The standard PACE 4 has a 1.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen and a fiber-reinforced polymer bezel. Its listed weight is 32 g with nylon or 40 g with silicone. Those band-specific figures make it the lighter option in either listed configuration.
PACE 4 Pro: larger screen, sapphire, and titanium alloy
The PACE 4 Pro’s 1.47-inch AMOLED display has a listed resolution of 466 × 466. COROS specifies sapphire glass and a TC4 titanium-alloy bezel. These are material and display differences, not proof of a particular real-world durability advantage: no comparative durability test is established by the cited specifications.

How does battery life compare?
The right runtime figure depends on GPS mode and whether the display is always on. COROS’s live battery table lists these estimates:
- All Systems On/High GPS: 41 hours for PACE 4 and 60 hours for PACE 4 Pro; with always-on display, 30 and 45 hours, respectively.
- Dual Frequency/Max GPS: 31 hours for PACE 4 and 40 hours for PACE 4 Pro; with always-on display, 24 and 30 hours, respectively.
- Daily use: with sleep tracking and daily stress, 19 days for PACE 4 and 21 days for PACE 4 Pro; with always-on display, 6 and 7 days, respectively.
These are COROS estimates, not guaranteed runtimes. COROS says actual consumption can be higher depending on settings and conditions such as backlight use, navigation, weak or lost satellite signal, and connected accessories. Its PACE 4 Pro product page also notes that music and other features affect battery life. Daily-use days are not GPS activity hours, so compare like with like rather than treating one headline number as a universal battery result.

Which watch is likely to fit your wrist better?
The clearest fit distinction in the published specifications is weight: PACE 4 is 11 g lighter than PACE 4 Pro with either matching band material. The Pro’s listed face dimensions are 47.6 × 47.6 mm; both models are listed as 11.8 mm thick. Dimensions and weight do not establish personal comfort, which also depends on wrist shape, band adjustment, and preference.
Both watches use 22 mm quick-release bands. COROS lists PACE 4 Pro nylon bands for wrists measuring 135–205 mm and silicone bands for 140–220 mm. Those ranges are specific to the Pro; the cited specifications do not establish corresponding wrist ranges for standard PACE 4. Check the size and attachment for the exact watch and band before buying a replacement.

What features are listed for the PACE 4 Pro?
The Pro specifications also list downloadable landscape and topographic maps, all-satellite dual-frequency GNSS, 32 GB of internal memory, and a 5 ATM water rating for surface-water activities—not diving. The available official specifications do not provide a complete, unambiguous feature-by-feature comparison of every software function, so they are not enough to establish that any particular software feature is exclusive to the Pro.

The Pro combines a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with sapphire glass and a TC4 titanium-alloy bezel. COROS also lists longer battery estimates in each of the GPS and daily-use comparisons above. Those differences may matter if you prefer the larger display or want the higher manufacturer estimates for your chosen mode.
