The PACE 4 is lighter, and the available COROS pages do not establish a same-market price for both watches. The Pro is most compelling if you value its screen, materials, or navigation features; otherwise, the PACE 4 may be the better fit. The specifications and feature descriptions below are COROS claims, not results of independent testing.
What changes between the PACE 4 Pro and PACE 4?
The most visible difference is the screen: the Pro has a 1.47-inch sapphire AMOLED display, while the PACE 4 has a 1.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen. COROS lists the Pro display at 466 × 466 pixels and claims brightness of up to 3,500 nits. The Pro also has a TC4 titanium-alloy bezel; COROS describes the PACE 4 bezel as fiber-reinforced polymer. These are manufacturer specifications and descriptions, not independent durability or visibility tests. COROS PACE 4 Pro specifications; COROS PACE 4 overview.

| Specification | PACE 4 Pro | PACE 4 |
|---|---|---|
| Display | 1.47-inch, 466 × 466 LTPO AMOLED; sapphire; COROS claims up to 3,500 nits | 1.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen |
| Bezel | TC4 titanium alloy | Fiber-reinforced polymer |
| Weight with nylon band | 43 g | 32 g |
| Weight with silicone band | 51 g | 40 g |
The PACE 4 is 11 g lighter with either listed band. That may matter if you prefer a lighter watch for running or everyday wear; the Pro’s screen and bezel, by contrast, are its clearest premium-material upgrades. The figures above come from COROS product pages, not independent weighing. PACE 4 Pro specifications; PACE 4 overview.

How do battery claims compare?
There is no clean like-for-like dual-frequency comparison in the available COROS figures. The PACE 4 page lists 41 hours of GPS use and up to 19 days of daily use. For the Pro, COROS lists 60 hours in High All-Systems GPS mode and 40 hours in Max dual-frequency mode on its UK specification page. Its US purchase page instead gives 45 hours for dual-frequency. COROS also lists 21 days of daily use for the Pro. PACE 4 overview; PACE 4 Pro UK specifications; PACE 4 Pro US purchase page.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- PACE 4: 41 GPS hours; up to 19 days of daily use.
- PACE 4 Pro: 60 hours in High All-Systems GPS mode; 40 hours in Max dual-frequency mode on the UK specification page, versus 45 hours for dual-frequency on the US purchase page; 21 days of daily use.
These are manufacturer estimates, and COROS says actual results vary with feature use, including music, backlight, and navigation. The different modes and conflicting Pro dual-frequency figures mean the headline numbers should not be read as a direct battery-life verdict. Check the specification for your region and intended GPS mode before buying.
Does the Pro offer better maps?
COROS describes both watches as supporting maps and dual-frequency satellite capability. The Pro pages specify 32 GB of storage and downloadable global landscape and topographic maps, and advertise street and trail names, points of interest, and turn-by-turn navigation. The PACE 4 overview does not state an equivalent storage capacity or the same level of map detail. That makes the Pro’s navigation and storage proposition more explicit in the published specifications, but the pages do not establish comparative map responsiveness, GPS precision, or the availability of every feature in every region. What does the Pro cost, and what is the upgrade premium?
COROS’s accessed US purchase page lists the PACE 4 Pro at $449. The available PACE 4 page does not establish a contemporaneous US price, so these sources do not support an exact upgrade premium. Who should choose each watch?
Choose the PACE 4 Pro if
- You want the larger 1.47-inch sapphire display and titanium-alloy bezel.
- You value the Pro’s explicitly listed 32 GB storage and more detailed map feature claims.
- You have checked the battery figure for your region and GPS mode, and it suits your needs.
Choose the PACE 4 if
- You prefer the lighter listed weight: 32 g with nylon or 40 g with silicone, versus 43 g or 51 g for the Pro.
- The smaller 1.2-inch AMOLED screen meets your needs.
- You do not need the Pro’s additional display, material, or explicitly specified storage and map features.
Is the PACE 4 Pro worth upgrading to?
The Pro is a targeted upgrade, not an automatic one. Its strongest documented reasons to pay more are the larger sapphire screen, titanium-alloy bezel, and more clearly specified storage and mapping. The PACE 4 is lighter, and the available pricing information is insufficient to calculate the Pro’s exact premium. Compare current same-market prices, then decide whether the Pro’s specific additions matter enough to you; do not base the decision on an unqualified battery-hour comparison.
