Choose the COROS PACE 4 Pro if you want offline maps, a larger sapphire AMOLED screen, a titanium bezel, or longer stated GPS runtime. Choose the PACE 4 if breadcrumb route guidance is enough and you would rather have a lighter, less expensive watch. The key question is whether you will use the Pro’s mapping and premium hardware—not whether “Pro” sounds better.

What’s the difference between the COROS PACE 4 and PACE 4 Pro?

The clearest functional difference is navigation: COROS says the PACE 4 Pro supports offline maps, turn-by-turn navigation, trail names, and points of interest; the PACE 4 offers breadcrumb navigation and route-related guidance, not full maps. The Pro also has a larger display and more premium screen and bezel materials. Both are positioned as training watches, but the available specifications do not establish that every feature is identical.

What matters COROS PACE 4 COROS PACE 4 Pro
Navigation Breadcrumb navigation and route-related guidance; no full mapping, according to COROS. Offline maps, turn-by-turn navigation, trail names, and points of interest, according to COROS.
Display 1.2-inch AMOLED. 1.47-inch AMOLED; COROS states brightness up to 3,500 nits.
Screen and bezel materials COROS describes a lightweight design with interchangeable nylon or silicone bands; the cited product information does not specify sapphire glass or a titanium bezel. Sapphire glass and a TC4 titanium bezel.
Weight COROS lists 32 g with a nylon band and 40 g with a silicone band. COROS lists 43 g on the product highlight and buying page, but 38 g as “body weight” in a comparison block. The figures are presented in different contexts, so they are not a confirmed like-for-like comparison.
Stated GPS runtime Up to 41 hours in All Systems (High) GPS mode, per COROS. Up to 60 hours in High GPS mode, per COROS; its FAQ identifies this as single-frequency. COROS also states 45 hours in Max GPS mode, identified as dual-frequency.
Stated daily-use estimate Up to 19 days, per COROS. Up to 21 days, per COROS.
Reported price Tom’s Guide reported $249/£229 in its September 22, 2026 review. COROS announced a $249 US starting price in November 2025. Tom’s Guide reported $449/£389 in its September 22, 2026 review.

Battery figures are manufacturer estimates, not independent test results, and the GPS mode names differ. Actual runtime varies with settings and feature use, so the numbers should not be treated as a direct, controlled comparison.

Choose the PACE 4 Pro if you need map context

Offline maps are the Pro’s strongest reason to cost more. Seeing map context, trail names, and points of interest on the watch can matter when you are following unfamiliar trails, traveling, or navigating a new city. Turn-by-turn navigation is another reason to prefer it if you want more than a line to follow.

Choose the display and materials you will appreciate

The Pro’s 1.47-inch AMOLED screen is larger than the PACE 4’s 1.2-inch panel. COROS states that the Pro reaches up to 3,500 nits and specifies sapphire glass and a TC4 titanium bezel. Those features may suit someone who prioritizes a larger screen and premium materials.

Compare the Pro’s weight carefully: COROS gives 43 g in its product highlight and buying page, while a product-page comparison block lists 38 g as body weight. The sources do not confirm that these weights use the same configuration, so a precise band-to-band weight advantage cannot be claimed. See COROS’s PACE 4 Pro product page and PACE 4 product page for its specifications.

COROS states up to 60 hours for the Pro in High GPS mode, compared with up to 41 hours for the PACE 4 in All Systems (High) GPS mode. These are not identically named modes. COROS presents both watches for training and running metrics. The PACE 4 buying page names integrations including Strava, Wikiloc, and TrainingPeaks. COROS explicitly lists Bluetooth support for heart-rate monitors, cycling power meters, cadence and speed sensors, and POD 2 for the Pro. It also describes Pro modes for triathlon and duathlon, including swim-bike-run transitions. A quick decision checklist

  • Pick PACE 4 Pro if offline maps, turn-by-turn navigation, or map details such as trail names and points of interest will help you.
  • Pick PACE 4 Pro if you want the larger 1.47-inch display, sapphire glass, and titanium bezel.
  • Pick PACE 4 if breadcrumb guidance meets your needs and you prefer the lower reported price.
  • Consider PACE 4 if minimizing wrist weight matters, while remembering that COROS’s Pro weight figures use different contexts and are not confirmed as directly comparable.
  • For battery decisions, compare the stated GPS mode and your own settings rather than relying on the top-line hours alone.
