What Crafter Blue sells
Crafter Blue makes watches as well as a broad range of straps. Its current catalog includes model-specific curved-end options, universal straight-end straps, FKM rubber, sailcloth FKM and leather. The brand’s homepage describes the MX01-SSK as designed for Seiko 5 Sports and SKX watches, with solid steel curved end links, anti-dust FKM rubber, a cut-to-size design and quick-release spring bars. Its CX03 flexi-curved FKM strap is also cut to size and listed in six colors. These are manufacturer descriptions, not independent fit tests. Crafter Blue’s official site

Will a Crafter Blue strap fit your watch?
Start with the exact watch reference and case shape. A curved end is designed to follow a particular case contour; the same nominal lug width does not prove that it will fit another watch. A straight-end strap does not rely on that model-specific contour, but must still match the lug width and work with the watch’s spring bars and clasp or buckle.

For example, the catalog distinguishes the model-specific CB10 for Seiko 5 Sports from the straight-end 22mm CB51 and the flexi-curved CX03. Treat each listing’s compatibility as the manufacturer’s claim unless an independent source has tested that exact strap on your watch. If your reference is not named, contact the seller with the reference and a clear photo of the lugs and case end before buying.
Check these details before ordering
- Exact reference: Find the complete model or reference number, not only the brand or family name.
- Lug width and case end: Confirm the stated width and whether the strap end is curved, flexi-curved or straight.
- Spring bars: Check whether the strap includes quick-release bars and whether they suit your watch.
- Clasp or buckle: Verify whether you can use your existing hardware or need the buckle supplied with the strap.
- Wrist sizing: Check the length and whether the strap is trimmed to fit; cutting is difficult to reverse.
Materials, sizing and installation
Product descriptions vary by model, so do not assume every Crafter Blue strap has the same construction or installation. The brand lists FKM rubber, sailcloth FKM and leather, and some products specify quick-release spring bars or a cut-to-size design. Confirm the details on the individual product page before purchase.

An older Fratello review offers a useful example of what a model-specific strap may involve. Reviewing the CB03 on a Seiko Marinemaster 300, the Fratello reviewer reported that the curved ends fit the case and that the soft rubber was comfortable. The reviewer also said the strap needed to be cut to length and attached to the watch’s original folding clasp. What independent feedback tells us
The Fratello account is positive about the CB03’s fit on the Seiko Marinemaster 300 and its comfort, but it is a single, older, model-specific review rather than a test of every Crafter Blue strap. The reviewer also noted a strong scent in the three Crafter Blue straps received. That is an individual observation from a small sample, not evidence of a current range-wide issue.

Fratello’s article reported a $75 CB03 price, a 12-month warranty and a seven-day return policy at the time it was published. Those terms are historical and should not be taken as Crafter Blue’s current price or policies; check the live listing and current terms before ordering.
Observed prices and value
When the official 22mm page was observed, it displayed UX03 at $49 on sale from $65, UX05 at $49, several model-specific curved-end options from $65, CB51 at $65 and CX03 at $75. These are observed storefront prices, not guaranteed current prices or enduring list prices. Confirm the amount, stock and any sale conditions on the product page when you buy. For value, compare the complete setup rather than the strap price alone: whether the end shape fits your watch, whether you can reuse your clasp, whether trimming is required, and whether the needed spring bars or buckle are included. A lower-priced straight-end option is not a substitute for a curved-end strap if you specifically want a close-fitting contour.

Crafter Blue’s strongest distinction is its combination of watch-specific curved-end straps and straight-end alternatives. The catalog is broad enough to merit a look, and the older CB03 review gives encouraging but limited evidence on comfort and fit for one Seiko pairing. Buy only after matching the exact reference, checking the installation and sizing details, and verifying current price and terms.
