How the five models differ
The planet-inspired names correspond to distinct dial treatments and reported material sources. In the Mercury, Venus and Earth watches, the space-related material is described as part of the movement rotor. In the Moon and Mars watches, meteorite material is reported in the dial.

The specific provenance descriptions above come from Oracle Time’s report. It also says the Lunar and Planetary Institute handles approvals and authentication referenced for the meteorites. The available accounts do not independently authenticate every spacecraft-material inclusion or meteorite component, so these are reported material stories rather than independently established findings.

Shared specifications, edition and price
Oracle Time reports the same core specifications for all five watches. Its 2026 release report gives a limited run of 450 pieces per model and a price of £2,200 per model. Diatom’s official collection page listed each watch at £2,200 GBP when accessed on 3 October 2026; the page did not show a remaining-stock count.

Did the Diatom watches go to space?
The sources describe high-altitude flights, not the watches reaching outer space. Diatom’s homepage says all watches in the collection travel above 120,000 feet. Oracle Time reports an altitude of 100,000 feet and describes it as above the Armstrong limit; the same report explicitly distinguishes that flight from “proper” space, noting that the watches themselves had not been to outer space even though components in the collection had. The published altitude figures differ, so they should be attributed to their respective sources rather than treated as one confirmed measurement. Diatom’s homepage gives its figure; Oracle Time’s report gives the other.
Which Inner Worlds watch has meteorite in the dial?
The Moon and Mars models are the two described as having meteorite material in their dials: NWA 11788 for Moon and NWA 13187 for Mars. The other three models’ reported historic spacecraft materials are in their rotors, not their dials. Those distinctions and origin descriptions are reported by Oracle Time.
