The DIRENZO DRZ_02 is a limited-edition, Swiss-made automatic watch with a 41 mm steel case, a distinctive bowl-shaped sandwich dial and a Sellita SW 200-1 movement. Its maker currently lists the model among sold-out watches, so the official catalog does not confirm that a new example is available.
What is the DIRENZO DRZ_02?
DIRENZO describes the DRZ_02 as its second timepiece. Founder Sergio Godoy Di Renzo frames its design as “retro-futuristic,” combining cues from the past with a forward-looking case and dial. The model was offered as a limited edition and is Swiss-made.
The original Kickstarter campaign raised CHF 129,785 from 242 backers against a CHF 20,000 goal. Those are campaign figures from 2018, not a measure of production volume or present-day sales.

The campaign described the movement as a Sellita SW-200 and specified a 38-hour power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 A/h (4 Hz). The current product listing names the SW 200-1 but does not repeat those two figures, so treat the reserve and frequency as campaign-era specifications.
Dial and case design
The DRZ_02’s dial uses a two-layer sandwich construction: an upper, bowl-shaped layer sits over a luminous lower layer. The campaign presented the curved upper section as a way to create continuity between the dial and case, rather than making the dial appear as a flat insert.

In a September 15, 2018 hands-on preview of a prototype, WatchPaper’s Adam Sofineti described an aerodynamic case inspired by 1930s Bugattis, a concave dial and a green-gradient prototype dial. These are useful clues to the design direction, but prototype details should not be assumed to match every production watch or colorway.
Will the DRZ_02 fit your wrist?
Diameter alone does not tell the whole fit story. The DRZ_02 measures 41 mm across without the crown and 48 mm from lug to lug; the latter helps indicate how far the watch may span across the wrist. Compare both measurements with a watch you already find comfortable. At 11.5 mm high, its listed thickness may also matter if you want it to slide easily beneath a close-fitting cuff.

The listed 5 atm water resistance is a specification, not a guarantee for every activity or for a watch whose seals have aged. For a used example, ask about its condition and service history before relying on water resistance.
Strap size and replacement options
The manufacturer lists a 22 mm strap size, making “22 mm watch strap” a sensible general search when looking for a replacement. Width alone does not establish that a particular third-party strap will attach correctly: check the strap ends and the watch’s attachment hardware before buying. The available specifications do not confirm quick-release hardware or compatibility with a specific aftermarket strap.

Is the DIRENZO DRZ_02 still available?
DIRENZO’s catalog currently places DRZ 02 in its sold-out models category. That indicates the maker does not present it as a currently available new model there; it does not establish whether a pre-owned example is for sale elsewhere. Current resale inventory, prices, regional shipping and service access are not established by the manufacturer’s catalog information.
If considering a second-hand watch, confirm the exact model and condition, ask for documentation and service records, and check that replacement straps and any needed servicing can be arranged before purchase.
