The DOXA SUB 200T is wider across the case yet substantially shorter lug-to-lug, and adds a date plus DOXA’s no-decompression bezel scale. The current Aquastar Model 60 Re-Edition MKII is time-only, with a conventional 60-minute elapsed-time bezel. For fit, compare both case dimensions rather than assuming the Aquastar’s smaller diameter means it wears shorter.

Specifications are brand-published; actual comfort depends on wrist shape and the bracelet or strap as well as case dimensions. The cited 200 m ratings do not by themselves establish suitability for every type of dive: follow each manufacturer’s guidance and keep the watch maintained.
Which one is likely to fit better?
DOXA: wider, but shorter lug-to-lug
The SUB 200T measures 39 mm across and 41.5 mm from lug to lug. Its 18 mm lug width is narrower than the Aquastar’s. The shorter lug span may be useful for wrists where long lugs tend to overhang, while its larger diameter gives it more width on the wrist.
Aquastar: smaller diameter, longer lug span
The Model 60 MKII is 37 mm in diameter but 47 mm lug-to-lug. That 5.5 mm difference in stated lug-to-lug length compared with the DOXA is why diameter alone is a poor fit guide here. Its 20 mm lug width also changes the visual and strap proportions.

- Stainless Steel case with Black Resin Band
- Black Dial with date window at 3 O'clock
- Luminous markers and hour hands; sweep second hand
- Anti-reverse bezel
- Water-resistant to 200 M (660 feet)
Try to compare lug-to-lug, thickness, and the curvature and end-link geometry of the exact bracelet or strap configuration. Brand measurements cannot predict how a particular wrist will experience either watch.
How do their bezels and displays differ?
SUB 200T: date and no-decompression scale
DOXA lists hours, minutes, seconds, and a date. Its unidirectional bezel incorporates a no-decompression limit table, a distinctive feature of the SUB 200T’s layout. The scale makes the bezel more specialized than a standard elapsed-minute ring; buyers who prefer a simpler dial and bezel may find it visually busy.

Model 60 MKII: time-only with elapsed-time bezel
The current Aquastar MKII listing describes a time-only display and a unidirectional 60-minute elapsed-time bezel. It omits the date and the DOXA-specific no-decompression table, keeping the core timing layout straightforward.
Movement: identify the Model 60 generation
DOXA’s current SUB 200T specifications cite a Swiss automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve. Aquastar’s current Model 60 MKII listings specify a Sellita SW200-1 Élaboré and a 38-hour reserve.

Aquastar’s 2023 Model 60 technical sheet describes a La Joux-Perret movement with a 68-hour reserve. That differs from the current MKII listing, so the 68-hour figure should not be applied to every Model 60. Confirm the exact reference and its listing before comparing movement specifications.
Bracelet, strap, and price considerations
DOXA lists the SUB 200T with beads-of-rice bracelet and rubber options. Current Aquastar listings offer strap and beads-of-rice bracelet configurations; check the specific listing to see what is included. Because lug widths differ—18 mm on the DOXA and 20 mm on the Aquastar—do not assume straps or bracelets are interchangeable.

Prices, stock, and included configurations vary by market and listing, so check the official regional product pages before buying.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which should you choose?
- Choose the DOXA SUB 200T if you want the date, the no-decompression bezel scale, a larger stated diameter, or the shorter lug-to-lug measurement.
- Choose the Aquastar Model 60 MKII if you prefer a 37 mm diameter, a time-only display, a conventional elapsed-time bezel, or its 20 mm lug width and available configurations.
- Compare both in person if fit is decisive. Their diameters point in one direction, but lug-to-lug length points in the other; wrist shape and bracelet or strap geometry will determine the practical result.
There is no universal winner on these specifications. Verify the precise Aquastar generation, current regional price, and included bracelet or strap, then decide whether fit and the bezel/dial layout matter more to you.
