Eterna’s shop identifies the watch as the Royal KonTiki GMT and lists reference 7740.40.11.1289 for a white-dial version. The same listing describes other variants, including black-dial references, so confirm the reference, dial and strap of the specific watch you are considering rather than assuming every version looks the same. Those are the observations a genuine hands-on review needs. In particular, do not infer accuracy from the movement’s frequency or power reserve: those specifications do not report a measured rate for an individual watch. The same applies to the GMT function: Eterna lists the complication, but the cited material does not explain its setting behavior in enough detail to assess it.
Keep the Royal GMT separate from the Four-Hands model
Eterna’s catalogue also lists a distinct “KONTIKI AUTOMATIC FOUR-HANDS 42 MM,” reference 1598.43.41.1306. Its product page describes a movement based on Sellita SW200-1 and lists hour, minute, second and date functions, not GMT.
