TAG Heuer was Formula 1’s headline watch partner for the 2025 season, returning as the sport’s Official Timekeeper after Rolex’s 2013–2024 run. Separately, seven of the ten 2025 constructors had an identified official watch-brand partnership: McLaren and Ferrari with Richard Mille; Red Bull with TAG Heuer; Mercedes with IWC Schaffhausen; Aston Martin with Girard-Perregaux; Alpine with H. Moser & Cie.; and Racing Bulls with Tudor.
Haas, Williams and Kick Sauber had no official watch sponsor identified in the public 2025 record. The list below separates championship-wide timekeeping from team sponsorship, and excludes driver-only deals and the fictional APXGP team from the film F1.
At a glance: the 2025 F1 watch-sponsorship map
Formula 1 had one championship-wide watch partner in 2025: TAG Heuer, which returned as the sport’s Official Timekeeper after Rolex’s 2013–2024 run. At constructor level, seven of the ten teams had an identified official watch-brand relationship. The seven pairings involved six brands because Richard Mille partnered with both McLaren and Ferrari, while TAG Heuer also had a separate relationship with Oracle Red Bull Racing.
The complete team-level list is below. “No official watch sponsor identified” means no active constructor-wide watch partnership was found in the public sponsorship record; it does not rule out a driver’s private watch deal or a late, undisclosed arrangement.

TAG Heuer replaced Rolex as Formula 1’s Official Timekeeper
The most important change in 2025 was not attached to a single car. TAG Heuer returned as Formula 1’s Official Timekeeper at the start of the season as part of Formula 1’s new ten-year global partnership with LVMH. The agreement gave TAG Heuer visibility across the circuit, including trackside branding, Fan Zones and the Paddock Club, as well as opportunities for product activation. Formula 1’s announcement explains the 2025 timekeeping change.
That ended Rolex’s period in the role, which ran from 2013 through 2024. Longines and Hublot are relevant to the longer history of F1 timekeeping, but neither should be counted as Formula 1’s championship-wide watch partner in 2025.
For shoppers, the collection most directly connected to this story is a TAG Heuer Formula 1 watch. Formula 1’s partner information also names TAG Heuer’s Monaco and Carrera collections in connection with the brand’s F1 identity. Model references, sellers and availability vary, so those collections should be treated as product examples—not proof that every model is a current 2025 team-edition release.

Richard Mille’s partnership with McLaren began in 2016 and remained active for the 2025 season. It is presented as a technical partnership built around the two companies’ shared interest in lightweight construction, advanced materials, precision and engineering. Richard Mille’s McLaren partnership page describes the relationship and its ten-year framework.
The collaboration has produced watches carrying McLaren associations, including the RM 50-03 Tourbillon Split Seconds Chronograph Ultralight McLaren F1, developed with McLaren F1 and the University of Manchester. The later RM 65-01 Automatic Split-Seconds Chronograph McLaren W1 is another prominent product associated with the partnership. It is more accurate to use that watch as an example of the relationship’s output than to describe it as a new 2025 launch.
McLaren’s deal illustrates how a modern F1 watch partnership can go beyond a logo on a car: the commercial story is built around materials, weight reduction and mechanical complexity that echo the team’s engineering image.
Ferrari: Richard Mille
Ferrari’s official watch partner in 2025 was also Richard Mille. The relationship began in 2021, following Ferrari’s previous ten-year association with Hublot. Richard Mille’s Ferrari-linked work includes the RM UP-01 Ferrari, a highly technical, ultra-thin model that fits the watchmaker’s emphasis on extreme engineering.
This team-level relationship should not be confused with individual driver endorsements. Lewis Hamilton joined Ferrari for the 2025 season, but a driver’s personal watch affiliation does not create a separate Ferrari constructor sponsorship. The defensible team claim is Richard Mille as Ferrari’s official watch partner. The 2025 team map and the Ferrari-Hublot history are summarized in specialist coverage of the 2025 sponsorships.

Oracle Red Bull Racing: TAG Heuer
TAG Heuer’s relationship with Red Bull Racing began in 2016 and continued in 2025. Oracle Red Bull Racing lists TAG Heuer among its team partners, and the partnership has supported co-branded Formula 1 watches. The team’s official partner listing confirms the active team relationship.
TAG Heuer therefore occupied two different positions in Formula 1 during 2025:
- Sport-wide: Formula 1’s Official Timekeeper.
- Team-specific: Oracle Red Bull Racing partner and timing partner.
Those roles are complementary rather than contradictory. The first is a commercial relationship with Formula 1 as a championship; the second is a separate constructor partnership with Red Bull.

Mercedes-AMG Petronas: IWC Schaffhausen
IWC Schaffhausen has been Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team’s Official Engineering Partner since 2013. For 2025, IWC introduced the Pilot’s Watch Mark XX Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, reference IW328210.
The 40mm titanium watch has a black dial, Petronas-green details and a matching green rubber strap. IWC said that Mercedes mechanics, engineers and race strategists would wear the team watch trackside during the 2025 season. That makes this one of the clearest examples of a partnership extending into a practical team-uniform and equipment ecosystem rather than stopping at branding. IWC’s 2025 announcement gives the watch’s reference and specifications.
IWC also had a separate connection with the fictional APXGP team in the film F1. That entertainment partnership is adjacent to the real Mercedes relationship, but APXGP was not an eleventh constructor in the 2025 Formula 1 World Championship.
Aston Martin Aramco: Girard-Perregaux
Girard-Perregaux continued as Aston Martin Aramco’s watch partner in 2025. The partnership began in 2021 and was extended beyond the 2025 season. Its product output includes the Laureato Chronograph Aston Martin Edition and the Laureato Absolute Aston Martin F1 Edition.
Design is central to this pairing. Green dials and green ceramic versions echo Aston Martin’s racing identity, while both companies position the relationship around technical expertise and innovation. The association should not be reduced to a generic “green watch” tie-in: it is an ongoing Aston Martin-branded product collaboration as well as a team sponsorship. Girard-Perregaux’s product information provides an example of the Aston Martin Laureato connection.
No reliable public sponsorship-fee figure was established for this partnership, so claims about its cost, exclusivity or commercial performance would go beyond the available evidence.
BWT Alpine: H. Moser & Cie.
H. Moser & Cie. became Alpine Motorsports’ first Global Partner in 2024 and continued into 2025. This is broader than a conventional F1-only watch deal: it covered the BWT Alpine F1 Team, Alpine’s endurance program, the Alpine Academy and other Alpine motorsport activities.
Moser described an exchange program between Alpine’s technical center in Enstone and the watchmaker’s manufacture in Neuhausen am Rheinfall. The collaboration also produced Alpine-themed Streamliner watches, including blue and pink editions associated with Alpine and its BWT livery. H. Moser & Cie.’s Alpine Motorsports overview describes the scope of the partnership.

Calling Moser Alpine’s “official timekeeper” would be imprecise. The brand’s own language is Global Partner across Alpine Motorsports, with a substantial Formula 1 component.
Visa Cash App Racing Bulls: Tudor
Tudor joined the Visa Cash App RB Formula One Team as an official partner for the 2024 season, and the relationship continued in 2025 as the team competed under the Racing Bulls identity. The deal placed Tudor branding on the car and drivers’ race suits and marked the brand’s return to Formula 1 motorsport.
The partnership has also supported Racing Bulls-linked Black Bay models and race-specific editions. Tudor’s original announcement remains useful for establishing the start and nature of the deal, while its current partnership material may foreground later continuation. Read Tudor’s partnership announcement and see the brand’s partnership page.

Haas
No affiliated watch brand was identified for Haas in the 2025 sponsorship map. The team had earlier associations with Cyrus and, before that, Richard Mille, but those relationships were not active as Haas watch partnerships for the 2025 season.

Williams also had no official watch sponsor identified for 2025. Its previous relationship with Bremont ended in 2023. Atlassian’s 2025 title partnership with Williams was a major team deal, but Atlassian is not a watch brand and should not be included in this list.
Kick Sauber
Kick Sauber entered 2025 without an identified official watch partner. Its earlier relationship with Rebellion Timepieces was no longer active, and the team was operating during a transition toward its future Audi identity.
The careful wording matters in all three cases. Public sponsorship inventories can lag late announcements, and an individual driver’s ambassador deal is different from an official constructor partnership. “No official watch sponsor identified” is more defensible than claiming that nobody connected with the team wore or promoted a watch.

Brands and relationships not to count as 2025 team sponsorships
Several recognizable names belong in the history or context of F1 watch partnerships, but not in the active 2025 constructor list:

- Rolex: Former Formula 1 Official Timekeeper, with its timekeeping period ending in 2024.
- Longines: An important earlier F1 timekeeping name, particularly in the 1980s, but not the 2025 championship-wide partner.
- Hublot: Associated with an earlier F1 timekeeping era and with Ferrari before Richard Mille, but not an active 2025 championship-wide or Ferrari team partner in this map.
- Bremont: Williams’ former watch partner; its relationship ended before 2025.
- Rebellion Timepieces: A former Sauber association, not an active Kick Sauber partnership in 2025.
- Cyrus: A former Haas association, not an identified 2025 Haas partner.
- IWC and APXGP: A film-related partnership involving the fictional team in F1, not a real-world 2025 constructor sponsorship.
The distinction between a brand appearing in a film, a driver wearing a watch, a limited-edition product carrying a team’s colors and an official team contract prevents the 2025 list from becoming an inaccurate collection of every F1-adjacent watch reference. Former-partner context is summarized in Time+Tide’s 2025 F1 watch coverage.
What the 2025 sponsorship map shows
- TAG Heuer was the season’s headline brand: it controlled the championship-wide Official Timekeeper role and also remained attached to Red Bull.
- Richard Mille had the broadest constructor reach: it partnered with both McLaren and Ferrari.
- Most active deals were product-led: McLaren, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Mercedes, Alpine and Racing Bulls all had identifiable watch collaborations or team-specific models connected to their partnerships.
- Partnership labels are not interchangeable: “Official Timekeeper,” “team partner,” “Official Engineering Partner” and “Global Partner” describe different scopes.
- Driver deals should be kept separate: they do not automatically represent the team or constructor.
On the evidence available for the 2025 season, the cleanest summary is: one sport-wide watch partner, seven active constructor-level pairings, six watch brands involved at team level, and three constructors with no official watch sponsor identified.
Frequently Asked Questions
Was TAG Heuer the official watch sponsor of Formula 1 and Red Bull in 2025?
TAG Heuer was Formula 1’s championship-wide Official Timekeeper in 2025, as part of the sport’s ten-year global partnership with LVMH. TAG Heuer also had a separate team relationship with Oracle Red Bull Racing, so the two roles existed simultaneously.
Was Rolex still Formula 1’s Official Timekeeper in 2025?
No. Rolex’s Formula 1 Official Timekeeper period ended in 2024. Rolex should therefore be treated as a former F1 timekeeping partner, not as the championship-wide watch partner for the 2025 season.

Richard Mille was Ferrari’s official watch partner in 2025. Lewis Hamilton’s individual watch relationships should not be counted as a separate Ferrari constructor sponsorship.
Was IWC’s APXGP partnership part of the real 2025 Formula 1 grid?
IWC’s Mercedes-AMG Petronas partnership was a real 2025 F1 team relationship. IWC’s separate association with APXGP belonged to the fictional team in the film F1 and was not an additional real-world constructor sponsorship.
Which 2025 F1 teams had no identified official watch sponsor?
No official watch sponsor was identified for Haas, Atlassian Williams or Kick Sauber in the public 2025 sponsorship record. That wording does not exclude private driver-level watch deals or an announcement that was not reflected in public team inventories.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: TAG Heuer’s return as Formula 1’s Official Timekeeper was the defining watch story of 2025, replacing Rolex and existing alongside TAG Heuer’s Red Bull partnership. The team map then split among Richard Mille, IWC Schaffhausen, Girard-Perregaux, H. Moser & Cie. and Tudor, with Richard Mille covering both McLaren and Ferrari. Haas, Williams and Kick Sauber had no official watch sponsor identified in the public 2025 record.
