OMEGA specifies a box-form, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a Moonwatch-style bracelet with a comfort-release adjustment system and manual-winding Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861. Is the new Moonwatch 42 mm?
Yes. OMEGA specifies a 42 mm case for both 2026 black-and-white models. That measurement is the case diameter, not the total span from lug to lug, so wrist fit will also depend on the case shape, bracelet articulation and your wrist circumference.

How the 2026 models differ from the 2024 white-dial Moonwatch
The most useful baseline is the 2024 stainless-steel Moonwatch with a lacquered white step dial. It uses black detailing, applied indexes, a red Speedmaster name and the historically familiar “Dot Over Ninety” tachymeter bezel.

The cited OMEGA manual for reference 310.32.42.50.04.001 identifies a manual-winding Calibre 3861. Its listed functions are hours, minutes, small seconds, chronograph timing and a tachymeter scale.

The 2026 launch announcement specifies a Moonwatch-style bracelet for the new models. Before buying an alternate strap, verify the reference, lug dimensions, end-link shape and clasp compatibility; a strap marketed as “42 mm Moonwatch” is not automatically correct for every generation.
Master Chronometer certification and warranty
OMEGA states that the 2026 watches are Master Chronometer certified and covered by a five-year warranty.
