The Farer Hecla Hunter Green is a 300 m-rated titanium dive watch in the Aqua Compressor Titanium Series III. Its defining choices are an internal timing bezel operated by a second crown, a 41.5 mm case, and a Swiss-made La Joux-Perret automatic movement. Farer’s UK page listed it at £1,250 and its US-dollar listing at $1,370 when accessed in 2026; prices and stock can change.
What is the Farer Hecla Hunter Green?
Farer names the model the Hecla Hunter Green Aqua Compressor Titanium Series III. It combines a matte hunter-green stamped-grid dial with luminous markers and hands, a titanium case, and two screw-down crowns. Farer says the name refers to HMS Hecla, a Royal Navy bomb vessel launched in 1815, later used for Arctic exploration, and retired in 1827; that is the brand’s account of the naming inspiration. Farer’s model page
The layout differs from many dive watches: the elapsed-time scale sits beneath the crystal, rather than on a rotating outer bezel. The lower crown turns the internal unidirectional bezel; the upper crown sets the time. This keeps the timing scale protected under the crystal, while requiring the wearer to operate it at the crown.

How the case and bezel work
Farer describes the compressor case as a design in which increasing external water pressure compresses the gaskets as depth increases. The brand’s collection explanation says the movement crown has two O-ring gaskets and that screwing the crown down compresses an additional gasket for the 300 m rating. This is Farer’s description of its construction; the rating has not been independently pressure-tested here. Farer Aqua Compressor collection
The internal unidirectional bezel is used to track elapsed time, such as a dive interval. Because the bezel is inside the crystal, it is adjusted using the lower screw-down crown. The bezel’s one-way operation is intended to prevent an accidental adjustment from increasing the indicated elapsed time. As with any rated watch, the published depth rating alone does not establish suitability for a particular dive or condition.

Movement and everyday ownership
The automatic La Joux-Perret G101 is specified with 24 jewels, a 4 Hz beat rate, and approximately 68 hours of reserve. Farer also lists self-winding via a ball bearing and hacking seconds, which stop the seconds hand when the crown is pulled to set the time. The brand says the movement is individually adjusted in four positions, finished to its highest “soignée” standard, and fitted with a custom-decorated rotor. These are manufacturer descriptions rather than comparative movement test results. Farer model specifications
Will it fit your wrist?
The 41.5 mm diameter is only one part of fit. The 45 mm lug-to-lug length and 12.5 mm thickness also affect how the case sits, while the claimed 62 g weight and titanium construction point to a relatively light watch for its size. Actual comfort depends on wrist shape and strap adjustment; Farer does not publish a broad wrist-fit test.

Farer’s strap guidance is based on wrist circumference:
- Short: 14–17.5 cm
- Regular: 16–22 cm
- Long: 18–24 cm
The bands overlap, so the circumference ranges are guidance rather than mutually exclusive sizing categories. The case has 20 mm lugs, and the included natural-rubber strap is quick-release. For a third-party 20 mm watch strap, confirm not only width but also attachment system, thickness, end shape, and buckle requirements.

Price, availability and strap options
Farer’s UK product page showed the watch in stock at £1,250, and its USD all-watches listing showed it in stock at $1,370 when accessed in 2026. Those are separate regional listings, not a guaranteed current price or an exchange-rate comparison. Check Farer’s current listings for availability and local pricing. The included strap is natural rubber with a titanium buckle. Farer also listed an Aqua Compressor Titanium Bracelet as a matching option for £245 on the UK model page at the time accessed. A manufacturer-listed bracelet is the clearest route to a purpose-matched fit; compatibility of unrelated straps cannot be concluded from the 20 mm lug width alone. Quick Recap
Who should consider it?
- Consider it if you want a titanium dive-style watch with a green dial, an internal timing bezel, and a long stated power reserve.
- Check carefully if you prefer a conventional outer bezel, want independently verified water-resistance performance, or need a confirmed fit on a particular wrist before buying.
- For strap changes, treat 20 mm as the lug-width specification, not proof that every 20 mm strap will attach or sit correctly.
