The new models add functions to the original three-hand watch; Horage says they are not replacements. The company claims more than 100 hours of power reserve and 30,000-gauss magnetic resistance for the newer models, while the original K3 listing specifies 96 hours.
What is the Horage DecaFlux?
The DecaFlux is Horage’s watch family built around its in-house K3 automatic movement, which the company says is made in Biel/Bienne. Horage describes the original DecaFlux as its first watch built around K3. The movement uses a silicon escapement and silicon hairspring; Horage attributes efficiency, reliability and magnetic resistance to those components. Horage’s original DecaFlux page presents the first model as a three-hand watch with hours, minutes and central seconds.
The family now also includes DecaFlux PR and DecaFlux Date. Horage introduced them as iterative additions rather than successors that displace the original. That distinction matters when comparing specifications: published power-reserve figures differ by generation, and the official pages available here do not provide a complete specification table covering every current variant.

Horage CEO Andi Felsl wrote that the newer watches “are not replacements for the original DecaFlux.” In the same September 24, 2026 article, he said internal testing often sees figures closer to 106 hours, while the company continues to communicate 100+ hours publicly. What are the original DecaFlux K3 specifications?
Horage lists the original model with a 316LMo stainless-steel case, sapphire display back, automatic K3 movement and COSC certification. The movement measures 30 mm by 4.2 mm and runs at 3.5 Hz. Its stated reserve is 96 hours on the original product listing. Horage’s page gives the case dimensions and water resistance below:

Horage lists polished black, sunray blue and polished white dial treatments, the last for the Pioneer Edition. The company describes five-layer anti-reflective sapphire with red or blue tint depending on the dial. Its separate Pioneer/Road to USA page specifies a white dial, decorated rotor, bracelet with 10 mm micro-adjustment, and a 100-hour reserve. That 100-hour figure belongs to that special-edition listing; it should not be substituted for the 96-hour figure on the standard original K3 product page. How anti-magnetic are the new DecaFlux models?
Horage claims 30,000-gauss magnetic resistance for the newer DecaFlux models in its September 24, 2026 article. That is a manufacturer claim: the available source does not include an independent test report, test protocol or certification detail. It is therefore more accurate to describe the figure as Horage’s stated resistance than as a third-party-verified result.

Horage also links magnetic resistance to the silicon components in the K3 escapement. The company identifies a silicon pallet fork and balance wheel, along with a silicon escapement hairspring. The article does not provide comparative test results establishing how the PR or Date performs against other watches under a standardized magnetic-resistance test.

- Look at the PR if a power-reserve-focused variant is the feature you want to investigate; confirm its current detailed specifications with Horage, since the available pages do not establish a complete comparison with the original.
- Look at the Date if you want a date variant; its displayed price was higher than the PR’s on the shop listing retrieved October 7, 2026, but the available sources do not establish all other specification differences.
For a sound comparison, verify each model’s current case dimensions, dial and case-back details, water resistance, certification and exact reserve statement rather than assuming the original’s specifications carry over. Horage’s published evidence for the newer models highlights 100+ hours and the 30,000-gauss claim, while its original listing gives the standard K3 a 96-hour reserve.
