What is the Farer Field Collection Generation II?
Generation II is Farer’s 2024 update to its Field collection. Launch coverage highlighted more colorful dials and a slimmer bezel, and named three models: Pembroke II, Lomond II and Exmoor II. The available specification reporting does not establish a mechanical difference among the colorways.
There is an important distinction between this 2024 generation and Farer’s current collection status. The brand’s Field collection page, accessed October 8, 2026, says, “The New Field Collection Launches Late 2026.” That is a current status notice; it does not establish that the Generation II watches remain available or that the late-2026 collection consists of the same models. Check the page for the current lineup and availability in your region.

Dimensions, water resistance and wearing considerations
The Generation II report gives a 38 mm case diameter, 45 mm lug-to-lug length and 11.7 mm thickness. The lug-to-lug measurement is especially useful when judging fit: it describes the span across the wrist, which can matter more than case diameter on a smaller wrist. Trying the watch on is the most reliable way to assess fit.

The reported water-resistance rating is 150 m. That is a stated specification, not an independent test result or a guarantee about the condition of an individual watch. For a used or previously serviced watch, condition and maintenance history matter; the launch coverage alone cannot establish either.
Farer’s current collection page introduces a measurement inconsistency: its introductory description says 38 mm, while a case description refers to 39 mm. The page also covers current collection status, so do not treat one dimension as universal across generations. Confirm the exact model’s specifications before buying.

Movement, date display and supplied attachments
Generation II’s reported movement is the Sellita SW221-1 automatic. The date is displayed with a pointer rather than a conventional window: an indicator hand points to the date around the dial. The launch-era source reports this setup for all three models.
The reported package includes both a 20 mm sailcloth strap and a steel bracelet. The sailcloth strap uses quick-release spring bars, which allow strap changes without a separate spring-bar tool. If choosing another strap, verify its 20 mm width and check that its attachment and buckle work with the particular watch.

2024 launch pricing and buying now
Fratello Watches reported 2024 preorder prices of £1,095, US$1,250 and €1,295. These are historical launch prices, not verified current prices, recurring prices or evidence of present availability. The sources do not establish what a Generation II watch costs today.
- Open Farer’s current Field collection page and identify whether the listing is for Generation II or a later collection.
- Confirm the exact model, dimensions, included bracelet and strap, price and stock for your region on the product page or with the seller.
- If considering a pre-owned watch, verify the specific watch’s condition, service history and included attachments rather than relying on the original launch specification.
Which Generation II model should you choose?
- Pembroke II: Choose the cream dial if you prefer the lightest, warm-toned appearance and beige luminous details.
- Lomond II: Choose the navy dial if you want a darker blue face with beige luminous details.
- Exmoor II: Choose the olive-green dial if you prefer green and white luminous numerals.
The reported specifications do not support choosing one colorway for a movement or water-resistance advantage. Base the choice on dial preference and wrist fit, then compare verified condition, current price and availability for the exact watch.
