What is the Farr + Swit Solar Chrono Vice?
The Vice is a solar-powered quartz chronograph with a deliberately bright, retro-futurist design. The Calibrated Wrist’s review, dated March 3, 2025, identifies its movement as a Seiko VS71A. That is a more precise description than calling it “solar mecaquartz”: the cited review describes it as a solar-powered quartz chronograph, and the available information does not establish a different technical classification.
The name covers more than one colorway or iteration. The review discusses Vice 2.0 Bubblegum and Vice 3.0 Electric Blue, while Farr + Swit’s collection lists those as separate products. Their names and dial colors should not be treated as evidence that every specification is identical.

Design and wrist feel
Bubblegum’s colorful dial
The Calibrated Wrist describes Vice 2.0 Bubblegum’s dial as a pink-and-cyan grid with a yellow, orange and purple gradient sun motif. That description applies to the Bubblegum version; it should not be projected onto Electric Blue or other Vice editions without confirmation.
One reviewer’s wearing impressions
The reviewer found the case comfortable despite its size, described the pushers as satisfying and the rubber strap as supple, and noted that the 42 mm case wears large. In their view, that scale also gives the dial artwork room to stand out. These are individual impressions, not a guarantee of fit or comfort on every wrist.

Which Vice version should you compare?
The available information establishes two named Solar Chrono Vice versions, but not a definitive official comparison of their specifications. Compare the exact edition rather than assuming a version number means a particular mechanical or case change.

Availability, price and straps
Farr + Swit’s collection listing identifies both Solar Chrono Vice 2.0 Bubblegum and Vice 3.0 Electric Blue as out of stock in the captured listing. Stock can change, so check the brand’s listing directly before making plans to buy. The same collection lists Vice FKM rubber straps in teal, grape purple and neon blue at $31.99 on the page captured for the source material; that is a listed strap price, not a price for either watch.
WatchPolice’s secondary listing reports a $550 retail price and out-of-stock status for the Electric Blue Vice 3.0, with the listing result updated September 20, 2026. Treat that figure as secondary-source context rather than a confirmed current price: the official collection listing in the source material does not show a current price for the Vice chronographs.

- Official specifications: Ask the brand to verify the movement, dimensions, water resistance and crystal for that exact edition if those details determine your choice.
- Fit: Consider the reviewer-reported 42 mm diameter and 50.5 mm lug-to-lug length, and compare them with a watch you already find comfortable.
- Replacement strap: The review reports a 22 mm lug width, and the collection lists Vice FKM straps. Verify both lug width and attachment compatibility for your particular watch before ordering.
- Price and stock: Check the brand’s current listing rather than relying on an older stock status or a secondary retailer’s price.
