The ArtyA Purity Central Tourbillon Blue puts a manufacturer-reported 20 mm tourbillon at the center of the watch, with peripheral hour and minute hands circling it. ArtyA also specifies automatic winding, two parallel barrels and a power reserve of over 60 hours. The name matters: this is the Blue model, not the original Purity Tourbillon or the later Purity Wavy Central Tourbillon.
What makes the Central Tourbillon Blue distinctive?
The visual focus is the tourbillon itself. ArtyA describes it as a 20 mm central tourbillon beating at 4 Hz. Both are manufacturer specifications; they do not by themselves establish independently measured accuracy or performance in daily wear. ArtyA’s own description calls it “A majestic 20mm central tourbillon beating at a frequency of 4 Hz.”
Instead of placing the time display at the center and the tourbillon elsewhere, the Blue model uses two peripheral hands to indicate hours and minutes around the central mechanism. That layout makes the rotating assembly the watch’s principal visual feature while retaining a conventional hour-and-minute display.
What movement and dial does ArtyA specify?
Automatic winding and reserve
ArtyA identifies the movement as its fifth in-house caliber and fourth tourbillon caliber, and calls it the brand’s first automatic-winding caliber. The manufacturer says a tungsten rotor winds two barrels mounted in parallel, providing a reserve of over 60 hours. These are specifications from ArtyA’s Purity Central Tourbillon Blue page, not the result of an independent test.

Blue sapphire with a claimed ultraviolet color shift
ArtyA describes the dial as blue sapphire that turns deep violet under ultraviolet light. That color-change effect is the manufacturer’s description; it should not be confused with a separately verified material or performance test.
What recognition has the watch received?
ArtyA says the Purity Central Tourbillon Blue was nominated in the 2024 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) Men’s Complication category. The cited model page establishes a nomination, not a win.

The cited ArtyA page does not state a price for the Purity Central Tourbillon Blue. Prices published for the Wavy Central Tourbillon or original Purity Tourbillon do not establish the Blue’s price, and the available model information does not verify current availability or an authorized seller.

Likewise, a 4 Hz frequency describes the movement’s stated operating rate; it is not a timekeeping result. No independent accuracy test for the exact Blue model is established here. The cited Blue page also does not state an exact-model water-resistance figure, so a rating from another Purity watch should not be assumed.

The Blue is most compelling for someone drawn to a highly prominent central tourbillon and an unusual peripheral time display. Its automatic winding and stated reserve distinguish it from the manual-winding original Purity Tourbillon, while the UV-responsive dial description adds another visual detail. For a comparison or purchase decision, confirm the exact reference and obtain model-specific information on price, dimensions, water resistance and availability rather than relying on specifications for a related Purity model.
