The Bell & Ross BR-03 Green Radar is a new limited-edition model, reference BR03A-GRDR-CE/SRB. Japanese authorized retailer TANAKA lists it at ¥737,000. That listing is the only independently confirmed detail about this exact watch. Movement, case size, water resistance, power reserve and edition size are not established in the sources available, so this first look keeps to what can be stated and flags what cannot.
What is confirmed about the BR-03 Green Radar
| Item | What the source says |
|---|---|
| Model name | BR-03 Green Radar |
| Reference | BR03A-GRDR-CE/SRB |
| Status | Labelled both “new” and “limited edition” in TANAKA’s new-model catalog |
| Listed price | ¥737,000 on TANAKA’s Japanese catalog (year not stated) |
| Edition size | Not stated |
| Movement, case diameter, water resistance, power reserve | Not stated |
| Global pricing and launch date | Not stated |
The “CE” in the reference matches the “Ceramic” in this article’s title, but the catalog excerpt does not explain which parts of the watch are ceramic. Treat the title’s “ceramic” as a model-identity label rather than a confirmed component list.
The “HUD-style” idea, and what it does and doesn’t tell you
The “HUD-style” framing describes the design premise: a watch that borrows the look of an aviation instrument or head-up display. That fits Bell & Ross, whose square BR-03 case is built around cockpit-instrument design. The “Radar” in the name points the same way.
The retailer listing does not document how the Radar display works, so this article does not describe the dial layout, how the time is shown, or how readable it is. Judgements about legibility, lume and wearability would need the watch in hand or an official product sheet.

How it compares with the BR-03 Green Steel
The same TANAKA catalog lists a more conventional green model, the BR-03 Green Steel (BR03A-GN-ST/SCA), at ¥594,000. Both entries come from one retailer’s Japanese catalog, so the comparison is like for like in market and source.
| BR-03 Green Radar | BR-03 Green Steel | |
|---|---|---|
| Reference | BR03A-GRDR-CE/SRB | BR03A-GN-ST/SCA |
| Listed price (TANAKA, Japan) | ¥737,000 | ¥594,000 |
| Price difference | ¥143,000 in the Green Radar’s disfavor, per the two listings | |
| Limited edition | Yes, per listing | Not indicated in the extract |
The gap is a retailer-listing difference only. The sources don’t show how much of it comes from ceramic, the Radar display, or limited-edition status.

Don’t borrow specs from the older BR 03 Radar
An earlier BR 03 Radar is listed on a BR-03 series page as a 42 mm steel watch with an ETA 2892 movement, 100 m water resistance and rubber or reinforced-nylon straps. That is a different watch. Nothing in the available sources says the Green Radar Ceramic shares those figures, so don’t assume it does, especially for case size and movement.
Price and availability
- ¥737,000 is a Japan-market retailer figure. It isn’t confirmed as a manufacturer’s suggested price.
- No other-currency price is established, and a straight conversion would ignore tax and regional pricing differences.
- The listing is a catalog entry, so it is not proof of current stock.
For exact specifications and availability in your country, check Bell & Ross’s own product page or ask an authorized dealer for the reference BR03A-GRDR-CE/SRB.

The Bottom Line
The Green Radar is a confirmed limited-edition BR-03 with a ¥737,000 Japanese retail listing. Its HUD-style appeal is a design premise rather than something that can yet be assessed in detail. Wait for an official spec sheet before judging size, movement or value.
