Bulgari’s 2025 Bronzo GMT and Bronzo Chronograph bring bronze cases to the Aluminium design family, pairing them with black rubber. The 40 mm GMT (ref. 104241) is built around a second-time-zone display; the 41 mm Chronograph (ref. 104242) measures elapsed time. Launch reports published in September 2025 listed prices of €5,200 and €6,500 respectively, but those figures do not establish current prices or availability.
Two bronze watches, two different jobs
The Bronzo GMT and Bronzo Chronograph share the Aluminium family’s contrast of metal and black rubber, but their complications serve different purposes. The GMT tracks a second time zone, while the Chronograph adds a stopwatch function with counters and a tachymeter scale. Bulgari’s managing director of watches described the bronze as a material that develops a personal patina over time; that is the brand’s characterization, not a prediction of how quickly or uniformly any individual watch will change. WatchTime’s September 6, 2025 report also identifies the models as additions to the Aluminium collection.

Dimensions, movement details, and reserves are specifications reported at launch, not independent measurements or test results. The 10 ATM / 100-metre rating is likewise a reported specification; it does not by itself establish suitability for a particular water activity. Consult Bulgari’s operating guidance for use in or around water.
Bronzo GMT 104241: the slimmer second-time-zone option
Hodinkee’s September 4, 2025 launch report gives the GMT a 40 mm bronze case and a thickness of 9.7 mm. Its black-lacquered 24-hour scale works with an independently adjustable GMT hand, a configuration often called a caller GMT: the wearer can set the additional hand to show another time zone. A date display adds a practical calendar function.

The automatic B192 is reported to deliver a 50-hour power reserve. Hodinkee describes rose-gold-plated hands and a black titanium crown; WatchTime reports a titanium case back and describes the B192 as Sellita-based. These are source-reported construction and movement details, not the result of an independent inspection.
Bronzo Chronograph 104242: elapsed time in a thicker case
The Chronograph is 41 mm across and 12.35 mm thick, making it both 1 mm wider and 2.65 mm thicker than the GMT according to Hodinkee’s launch specifications. Its automatic B381 movement is reported with a 42-hour reserve. Chronograph counters record elapsed time, while the tachymeter scale is intended for calculating speed over a measured distance.

WatchTime describes three azurage-finished counters and says the B381 is based on the Sellita SW300 with a Dubois-Dépraz chronograph module. There is a source discrepancy worth noting: Hodinkee’s article text identifies B381, but its technical table lists B382 in one calibre line. WatchTime also identifies B381, so B381 is the better-supported designation, though the discrepancy remains in the launch coverage.
Launch prices and what they do—and do not—tell you
Hodinkee’s September 4, 2025 report lists €5,200 for the GMT and €6,500 for the Chronograph. WatchTime’s September 6, 2025 report quotes CHF4,390 and CHF5,450 respectively. These are launch-era prices in different currencies and reporting contexts, not directly comparable current regional prices. Neither report verifies 2026 pricing, stock, or retailer availability.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which model fits your use?
- Choose the GMT if: tracking a second time zone is the priority and you prefer the thinner reported case. Its independently adjustable GMT hand is designed to make a second zone readable alongside local time.
- Choose the Chronograph if: you want a stopwatch complication and tachymeter scale, and accept the thicker reported case. It is not a substitute for the GMT’s second-time-zone display.
- Consider bronze if: you welcome a case material whose appearance is expected to change. Bulgari describes the alloy as developing a patina, but the cited launch coverage does not establish its color, pace, care needs, or uniformity.
Neither launch report establishes limited-edition status; Hodinkee reports that the models are not limited editions.
