What Hublot says about the movement
Hublot identifies the caliber as HUB4700, a self-winding skeleton chronograph, and connects it to the El Primero lineage. The brand describes a silicon regulating element. Its product page also cites 5 Hz (36,000 vibrations per hour) and 1/10-second precision in its discussion of that lineage; these are not independent accuracy measurements of this specific watch.
What Hublot’s ceramic claims mean
Hublot describes its high-tech ceramic as zirconium-based and sintered at high temperatures. The brand calls the material “ultra-tough” and “almost entirely scratch-proof” except for diamond. Those are manufacturer characterizations, not findings from independent testing for this article, so they should not be read as a guarantee that the case cannot be scratched or damaged.
