Announced on October 16, 2024, it is a limited edition of 15 watches in 950 platinum—not a newly announced 2026 model. Krayon describes the dial as miniature painting, although its layered, colorful appearance can look mosaic-like at a glance.
What is the Krayon Anywhere Arborea?
Arborea is a limited edition in Krayon’s Anywhere collection. The collection’s defining complication connects the display of time to the sun: it indicates sunrise and sunset for a location selected by the wearer, as well as day and night. Krayon’s family description also identifies day length as part of the Anywhere system.
Krayon says the Arborea edition reinterprets Henri Rousseau’s The Virgin Forest at Sunset. The composition is an artistic interpretation, not a claim to reproduce the painting exactly. The brand describes the watch as an exclusive limited edition of 15 platinum watches.
Is the dial a mosaic?
No—not according to Krayon’s description of how it is made. The dial is métiers d’art miniature painting, executed by hand in Switzerland. “Mosaic-like” is a visual shorthand for its detailed, colorful appearance; it should not be taken as the documented dial-making technique. Krayon does not provide further technical detail about the painting process on the product page.

The artistic reference suits the watch’s subject: Rousseau’s forest-at-sunset imagery meets a complication organized around the solar cycle. Krayon identifies Rémi Maillat as its founder and master watchmaker, and reports that he cited Rousseau’s “boundless imagination” as a reason for choosing the painter.
