What distinguishes the black and white editions?
The differences are primarily in the case finish, ceramic accents, and rotor color—not in the stated chronograph specifications.

Zenith says each movement has its own color composition. The spectrum is visible on the bridges beneath the dial, with colored details also carried into the dial markings and subsidiary-hand tips. It is therefore more than a colored case treatment: the movement’s finish is part of the visual design.
How does the El Primero 9004 chronograph work?
The automatic El Primero 9004 uses two independent regulating systems, each with its own barrel and escapement. Zenith specifies one system at 5 Hz (36,000 vibrations per hour) for timekeeping and another at 50 Hz (360,000 vibrations per hour) for the chronograph. The latter supports elapsed-time readings to 1/100th of a second, according to Zenith’s launch materials and product listing.

For the white reference, Zenith lists an approximately 50-hour power reserve. This is a manufacturer specification, not a measure of how long a particular watch will run in everyday conditions.
What are the size and water-resistance specifications?
Both editions have a 45 mm case diameter and a stated water-resistance rating of 20 ATM, according to Zenith’s launch release and product listing. These are published specifications; they do not establish how either version wears on a particular wrist or how it performs in independent durability testing.

What is known about price and availability?
Zenith’s US listing for the white edition gave a price of $20,600 and showed the watch as sold out when accessed. Those details can change, so check the official US product page for current status. The cited materials do not establish a current regional price or stock status for the black edition; its price should not be inferred from the white model.
The white model’s listing specifies 100 pieces and includes three options for wearing it: a white rubber strap, a titanium bracelet, and a black Velcro strap. Zenith says the quick-change system lets the wearer swap them. The launch materials identify the black reference but do not state an equivalent edition quantity or strap set.

What the launch specifications do—and do not—show
The two watches share the same headline size, water-resistance rating, and dual-frequency chronograph architecture. Their clearest documented distinction is visual: black or white ceramic and different titanium finishes, set against individualized multicolor movement bridges and contrasting rotor colors. Zenith’s specifications explain the intended 1/100th-second chronograph capability, but the published launch information does not establish comparative accuracy in use, comfort, or durability.
