Maurice Lacroix lists two regional dial variants, each limited to 500 pieces. It is distinct from the broader 1975 collection introduced in 2025: the Legacy has different dimensions, movement, display and water-resistance rating.
What is the 1975 Legacy Automatic?
The 1975 Legacy is a small-seconds model within Maurice Lacroix’s 1975 family. The official listings identify a silver-dial version, reference 756207-SS001-130-2, and a slate-grey version, reference 756207-SS001-330-2. Both are marked limited edition at 500 pieces.
The name connects the watch to Maurice Lacroix’s 1975 origins, while its defining design feature is the dial’s Jura Waves motif. The caseback is closed and engraved with a Jura motif rather than displaying the movement.

Case, dial and movement
39 mm steel case and 5 ATM rating
Both official Legacy pages specify a stainless-steel case measuring 39 mm across and 10.20 mm thick, a box-style sapphire crystal and 5 ATM water resistance. That rating is part of the Legacy specification; it should not be confused with the 10 ATM figure associated with the regular 1975 models at launch.
Small seconds and Jura-inspired dial
The silver reference has a silver dial with a Jura Waves motif, faceted 4N trapezoid indexes, faceted 4N Dauphine-style hour and minute hands, and a 4N small-seconds hand. The US regional slate listing identifies its dial as slate grey and also specifies small seconds.

Automatic ML158 calibre
Maurice Lacroix lists the automatic ML158 calibre with a 60-hour power reserve, a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and 31 jewels. These are the Legacy’s listed movement details, not the ML 115 specifications of the standard 1975 collection.
Strap and clasp
The silver reference is listed with a black leather strap bearing the Maurice Lacroix “m” logo, a 20 mm width and a stainless-steel butterfly buckle. The listing also says the Easy Change system is available. It does not establish compatibility with third-party straps, so a matching width alone should not be taken as confirmation of fit.

How the Legacy differs from the regular 1975 collection
The 1975 collection introduced in 2025 is a broader family, not another name for the Legacy. Fratello Watches’ March 25, 2025 launch coverage described 12 regular-collection references with date displays, 36 mm and 40 mm cases, the ML 115 movement and 100 m water resistance. Its account identifies the ML 115 as a Sellita SW200-1 with a 38-hour reserve and 26 jewels. The Legacy instead has small seconds, no date listed, a 39 mm case, 5 ATM water resistance and the ML158.
| Feature | 1975 Legacy Automatic | Regular 1975 collection at 2025 launch |
|---|---|---|
| Display | Hours, minutes and small seconds; no date listed by the cited Legacy pages. | Hours, minutes, central seconds and date, according to Fratello’s launch coverage. |
| Movement | Automatic ML158; 60-hour reserve; 31 jewels; 28,800 vph, per Maurice Lacroix’s listings. | ML 115 (Sellita SW200-1); 38-hour reserve; 26 jewels, according to Fratello’s 2025 coverage. |
| Case and water resistance | 39 mm; 10.20 mm thick; 5 ATM, per Maurice Lacroix’s listings. | 36 mm or 40 mm; 100 m / 10 ATM, according to Fratello’s 2025 launch coverage. |
| Design and caseback | Jura Waves dial; closed caseback engraved with a Jura motif; limited to 500 pieces per cited reference. | Sunray dials and display backs, as described in Fratello’s 2025 launch coverage. |
Fratello reported launch prices of €1,400 on strap and €1,500 on bracelet for the regular collection in 2025. Those launch-era figures are not a like-for-like price comparison with the Legacy’s regional listings: the date, market, tax treatment and configuration differ.
