Alpina introduced two new Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic editions in 2025: the black-dial AL-525B3VE6 and the khaki-dial AL-525K3VE6. Both share a 39 mm steel case, 300 m water resistance and an automatic AL-525 movement; their dial color and texture set apart the black model’s vintage-inspired look from the khaki model’s more outdoors-oriented style.
Two dial options, two references
Introduced at Geneva Watch Days 2025, the editions were presented as regular-collection models. Alpina’s September 5, 2025 announcement and Monochrome’s launch coverage identify them by these references:

Both retain the triangular marker at 12 o’clock and date display at 6 o’clock. The difference is chiefly visual: choose the black edition for the stronger retro cue, or the khaki edition for a more utilitarian color and texture.
Shared case and dive-watch specifications
The two watches share the same reported dimensions and construction. Alpina’s launch material and Monochrome list a 39 mm diameter, 40.5 mm case length and 12.65 mm thickness.

The published specifications describe substantial water resistance, but do not establish that the watches were independently tested for this article.
Movement and everyday functions
Both references use Alpina calibre AL-525, described as based on the Sellita SW200-1. The 2025 specifications give automatic winding, a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and a 38-hour power reserve. The date at 6 o’clock is the listed calendar function.
