The Fortis Flieger F-43 Triple-GMT PC-7 TEAM Edition is reference F4260004, a 100-piece limited edition marking 25 years of Fortis’s partnership with the Swiss PC-7 TEAM. It pairs the F-43’s traveller-style GMT with a dark DLC-coated titanium case, team-specific dial details and Fortis’s Werk 13 automatic movement. Its launch specifications include a 70-hour power reserve and 200 m water resistance; current listings do not establish a single reliable new-stock price or availability.

Fortis’s edition page identifies the reference and 100-piece run. The dimensions and movement details above are launch specifications reported by Fratello; published lug-to-lug figures differ by half a millimetre. The current standard F-43 page lists its own dimensions, including 54 mm lug-to-lug and 15.5 mm thickness, so those figures should not be substituted for the PC-7 edition’s launch measurements.
How the Triple-GMT tracks three time zones
This is a traveller’s GMT rather than a watch with three separate hour hands. The local-hour hand can be advanced or set independently in one-hour jumps when changing time zones. The GMT hand indicates a second zone on a 24-hour scale. Rotate the bidirectional 12-hour bezel and use it with the GMT hand to read a third zone. Launch coverage describes the local-hour jumping function and the three-zone arrangement; Fortis’s standard F-43 product page confirms the GMT complication and 12-hour bidirectional bezel.
The bezel’s 12-hour scale does not distinguish day from night on its own. The 24-hour GMT hand provides that context for its indicated zone; for the third zone, account for whether it is morning or evening when interpreting the bezel reading.

What distinguishes the PC-7 TEAM edition
The dark DLC finish and aircraft-inspired details set F4260004 apart from the standard F-43. Fortis places a PC-7 aircraft marker at 12 and a cocktail-glass marker at 4. The smoked sapphire exhibition back carries the team logo, and the package includes a red PC-7 TEAM hook strap alongside the green hybrid strap, according to Fortis and Fratello.
Fratello explains the glass marker as a nod to the PC-7 pilots’ eight-hour alcohol cutoff before flying. That is the publication’s explanation of the design, not a general aviation rule established here. Fortis describes the marker as a way to track the time before a pilot’s next flight.

Is the 43 mm F-43 too large?
Diameter alone does not settle fit. The PC-7 edition’s reported 54–54.5 mm lug-to-lug span and 15.6 mm height are also relevant: the relatively long span may extend beyond narrower wrists, while the thickness gives it a substantial profile. If possible, try it on or compare those measurements with a watch you already wear comfortably. The small discrepancy in lug-to-lug figures comes from differing launch reports, not evidence of two case sizes.

What did the PC-7 TEAM edition cost at launch?
Launch prices are historical, not current offers. In 2023, Fratello reported CHF 4,800 and EUR 5,300 including local VAT, plus US$5,400 including local VAT. Monochrome reported a US launch price of US$4,900 excluding taxes. The US figures use different tax bases, so they are not directly comparable. Neither publication’s launch price establishes what a seller should charge now.

- Confirm whether the specific watch is new, pre-owned or otherwise described, and ask for current photographs and condition details.
- Check that original papers and both straps are included if they matter to you; do not assume they accompany every listing.
- Verify whether the seller is authorized and what warranty applies to that particular sale.
- Read the return, import-duty and tax terms for your country before ordering.
- Confirm the final delivered price and that the seller has the exact reference, F4260004, rather than a standard F-43.
Because seller warranty coverage and regional return terms depend on the seller and destination, the listing’s actual terms matter more than a general claim about the model.
