Fratello’s “Our Favorite Rolex Watches Of All Time” brings together Nacho, Thomas, and Lex to name three Rolex references each. The May 1, 2025 article previews one selection from each host, but the full list is reserved for the episode.
How the favorite-watch picks work
Fratello frames the exercise as a personal selection, not a ranked or scored comparison. Each participant can choose three Rolex references, with no limits on price, rarity, or production date. The hosts try to avoid overlap; if picks do overlap, a participant can use a replacement. Honorable mentions are also allowed. Read Fratello’s episode preview.

The Rolex references previewed
Lex: Explorer II 1655
Lex’s previewed choice is the Rolex Explorer II reference 1655. Because his pick overlaps with choices made by Nacho and Thomas, they need to substitute other selections.
Nacho: Explorer 1016
Nacho’s previewed backup is the Rolex Explorer reference 1016. Fratello describes it as “A 36mm classic with its distinctive tritium numerals and less-is-more appeal.” That is the article’s characterization, not an independently verified specification or condition assessment.

What the preview leaves out
The article reveals one reference per host, not all three selections from each participant. The complete set of favorites is left for the episode, so the preview should not be treated as a full list or as a verdict on which Rolex is best.
