Fratello’s May 31, 2024 roundup named five watches with full-lume dials, from a quartz depth-gauge diver to a 300-meter-rated carbon-cased model. Its “available” framing belongs to that article date: current stock and pricing for the five watches are not established here. The list was presented in no particular order, and it is a product roundup—not a standardized comparison of lume brightness or duration. Fratello’s original article was inspired by IWC’s Ceralume concept and Zodiac’s Super Sea Wolf Pro-Diver.
What “full-lume dial” means in this roundup
Each pick has a dial made to glow, rather than relying only on luminous hands or markers against a conventional dark dial. The watches do not all glow the same color: the reported dial glow ranges from green to blue and yellow, and some models use a different color for the hands, markers, or bezel details.
Fratello did not publish comparable measurements for brightness, glow duration, or charging exposure. The descriptions below therefore explain each watch’s reported design and specifications; they do not establish which one is brightest or stays legible longest.

What distinguishes each pick
TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 Date Night Diver
The Date Night Diver pairs a white luminous dial with selective blue lume on three details: the bezel triangle, minute hand, and seconds-hand tip. The contrast makes it the most deliberately two-color arrangement in this group. Fratello gives its case as 43 mm black DLC-coated steel and its movement as an automatic Calibre 5 based on the Sellita SW200-1, with a date at 6 o’clock and a 38-hour reserve.
TAG Heuer’s official US page continues to identify reference WBP201D.FT6197 and lists a 43 mm case, 300 m water resistance, Calibre 5 automatic movement, 38-hour reserve, and white luminescent dial. Its store-availability feature is a way to check with the retailer, not proof that the watch is in stock. Check the official TAG Heuer listing for WBP201D.FT6197.

Doxa Sub 300 Carbon Whitepearl
Doxa’s Whitepearl puts a white glowing dial inside a forged-carbon case. Fratello reports a green dial glow and blue glow from the hands and markers, with a COSC-certified Sellita SW200-1 movement and 38-hour reserve. The listed dimensions—42.5 × 45 mm and 13.4 mm thick—describe a broad, cushion-shaped case; they are not directly interchangeable with a single-diameter measurement.
Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Pro-Diver
The Pro-Diver reverses the usual expectation of a green-glowing dive-watch dial: Fratello describes its pistachio-green dial as glowing blue, while the white hands, markers, and bezel markings glow green. The article specifies a 42 mm steel case, 13 mm thickness, 49.8 mm length, and a COSC-certified STP 1-21 with a 40-hour reserve.
Rank #3
- INSTANT READ MILITARY TIME: Never struggle to convert time during a busy shift. Features a high-contrast dial with bold Arabic numerals and a dedicated 12/24-hour inner ring. Perfect for medical professionals, fire academy cadets, and military personnel who require split-second accuracy.
- SUPERIOR NIGHT VISIBILITY: Engineered for night-shift workers and outdoor enthusiasts. The specialized luminous dial provide a clear glow in low-light conditions. (Pro Tip: For maximum brightness, expose the dial to strong light for 15 minutes to "charge" the natural luminous material).
- ULTRA-BREATHABLE NYLON STRAP: Experience all-day comfort without the sweat. Our lightweight 20mm slip-thru nylon band is soft against the skin yet rugged enough for the field. Fits wrists from 6.5 to 9 inches—extra length can be neatly folded back for a professional, tactical look.
- DURABLE JAPANESE PRECISION: Powered by a high-grade Miyota 2035 Japanese Quartz movement for "set it and forget it" reliability. Housed in a matte-finish rugged case with a scratch-resistant mineral window, this watch is built to withstand the "abuse" of construction sites, hiking trails, and daily manual labor.
- HONEST WATER RESISTANCE: Rated 5ATM (165ft) for peace of mind. While it handles splashes, rain, and hand-washing with ease, we recommend keeping it dry during hot showers or diving to ensure long-term seal integrity. A practical, high-value gift for veterans, outdoorsmen, or yourself.
Zodiac’s official Canadian Pro-Diver collection page describes a 42 mm pistachio fully luminous dial model and a 30 ATM rating. The collection listing supports the existence of that variant, but does not confirm current stock or availability in other regions. See Zodiac’s Canadian Pro-Diver collection.
Isotope HydiumX “Exit”
The HydiumX “Exit” uses an off-white luminous dial with green Arabic numerals, reported to glow green. Its micro-blasted steel case measures 40 × 48 mm, is 14.9 mm thick, and has 22 mm lug spacing. Fratello lists a Landeron automatic movement, a 40-hour reserve, and an accuracy claim of ±12 seconds per day. Those are the article’s specifications, not results from a side-by-side test of these five watches.
Rank #4
- 1/5 Second Chronograph Measures up to 60 Minutes, 12/24 Hour Time, Date
- Black Stainless Steel
- Spherical Mineral Crystal
- 100M Water Resistant and 5 Year Limited Warranty
Citizen Promaster Aqualand Depth Meter JP2007-17W
The Citizen is the outlier in both display and movement: an ana-digi quartz diver with a depth gauge, rather than a conventional all-analog automatic watch. Fratello reports a yellow-glowing full-lume dial and blue-glowing markers, powered by caliber C520. Its article describes the version as an ISO-compliant diver and notes 24 mm lug spacing, but does not give a water-resistance figure for this model in the roundup.
The original Aqualand’s 1985 launch introduced an electronic digital depth gauge, according to Fratello. That history helps explain why the JP2007-17W belongs in a roundup that otherwise centers on luminous analog dials: the glow is paired with practical dive information on a digital display.

1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesBest Value
- Original Vostok watch from the factory warehouse in Chistopol city
- Mechanical (movement 2426.12), self-winding, sideward second hand
- Additional hand for GMT time. Water Resistant 200m (20 BAR)
- Shockproof, anti-shock device balance node. Luminous dial and hands
- Bidirectional rotating bezel. Fully wound watch should run for at least 31 hours
How to choose among them
- For a white dial with targeted blue accents: the TAG Heuer combines green dial glow with blue-lit bezel and hand details.
- For a carbon case: the Doxa is the only forged-carbon option in the list.
- For a colored dial and contrasting lume: the Zodiac pairs a pistachio face with blue dial glow and green-lit markers and bezel markings.
- For a smaller stated case diameter: the Isotope is listed at 40 mm, though its 48 mm length and 14.9 mm thickness also matter for fit.
- For a depth gauge and ana-digi display: the Citizen is the specialized choice; it is not a like-for-like automatic alternative to the other four.
Water ratings, movement type, and case dimensions can narrow the choices, but they do not rank lume performance. Since Fratello supplied no common charging or measurement conditions, a claim that one model is brighter or glows longer would go beyond the available comparison.
Are these watches available now?
“Available” is the framing of Fratello’s May 2024 list, not confirmation of present inventory. The TAG Heuer reference remains on the brand’s US site with a store-check option, and Zodiac’s Canadian collection page lists a relevant pistachio full-lume Pro-Diver variant. Neither listing establishes that a retailer has stock. Current regional availability and pricing for all five watches are unverified in the cited sources.
