The list covers watches unveiled during 2025, not just Geneva Watch Days releases. It is author Jorg Weppelink’s subjective selection, judged on how well each partnership blends the collaborators’ styles and uses the meeting to try something different—not an objective or independently scored ranking. How Fratello frames its five picks
Weppelink’s premise is that collaborations can either feel like familiar watches with extra decoration or create a coherent result that neither partner would have made alone. He writes: “In addition, collaborative efforts are a display of creativity and, therefore, represent something different.” The five watches below illustrate different ways to make that idea tangible: a changed dial layout, a new display, distinctive materials and craft, or a partner’s design language built directly into the watch.

1. Studio Underd0g × Fears Gimlet Brunswick 38
What the collaboration changes
Created for British Watchmakers’ Day 2025, the Gimlet Brunswick 38 pairs Studio Underd0g’s playful dial approach with the cushion-case form and styling of Fears’ Brunswick. Its 38 mm stainless-steel case surrounds a lime-green dial made with seven layers of Super-LumiNova. A transparent sapphire layer carries the minute track, numerals, and both brands’ logos, giving the dial a layered appearance while keeping its luminous surface visible.

The manual Sellita SW210-1 replaces the ETA/Peseux 7001 normally used in the Brunswick, according to Fratello. The layout also omits small seconds, leaving more open space on the dial. Fratello reports a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, 19 jewels, and a 42-hour power reserve.
Edition and reported launch price
Fratello reported 200 watches at £1,000 each, divided into two groups of 100 for event attendees. That is the article’s reported launch-era information, not confirmation of current availability.
2. Louis Vuitton × Kari Voutilainen LVKV-02 GMR 6
A dual-time watch built around handwork
Louis Vuitton’s La Fabrique du Temps and Kari Voutilainen’s workshop collaborated on this five-piece dual-time watch. The hand-finished case measures 40.5 mm across and 12.54 mm thick. Its tantalum mid-case is paired with platinum for the bezel, case back, lugs, and crown.

The gold dial features traditional guilloché and hand-painted decoration by La Fabrique des Arts artisan Maryna Bossy. Fratello reports that painting the 28-color hour circle took 32 hours, followed by eight hours of firing. The day-and-night display is engraved and enamelled.
Movement, edition, and reported price
The special manual-winding GMR 6 caliber is reported to contain 254 components, including two escapement wheels and an in-house balance wheel. Fratello lists its frequency as 18,000 vibrations per hour and its power reserve as 65 hours. The article reports five pieces at €550,000 each, with a bespoke Louis Vuitton trunk supplied for each watch. This is a reported price, not a current offer.
3. M.A.D.Editions × Yinka Ilori M.A.D.1S “Grow Your Dreams”
Three colors, one hour cylinder
British-Nigerian artist and designer Yinka Ilori worked with Max Büsser’s M.A.D.Editions on three versions named Sun, Nature, and Water. Their yellow, green, or blue anodized titanium rotor is one of the most visible elements, set above a textured aluminum baseplate and a HyCeram bezel ring. The watch has a 42 × 15 mm steel case and a rubber strap.

Fratello highlights a display change as well as the colors: this design uses a single hour cylinder rather than separate hour and minute cylinders. A modified La Joux-Perret G101 movement powers the watch, with a reported 68-hour power reserve.
Edition and access
The article reports 400 pieces of each colorway, or 1,200 in total across the three versions. It says the raffle registration window had closed and expected the watches to have sold for CHF 3,200. That account does not establish present stock or a current selling price.

4. Zenith Defy Chronograph USM
Furniture colors and a modular detail
Zenith and Swiss modular-furniture maker USM Haller brought together products Fratello connects to the 1960s. USM’s color palette appears on the watch dials, while the furniture system’s ball head is echoed at the end of the central chronograph hand. The 37.3 mm angular case has a 14-sided bezel and pump pushers, and comes on a Zenith ladder bracelet.

The four reported colors are USM Green, USM Pure Orange, USM Golden Yellow, and USM Gentian Blue. Each watch uses the automatic El Primero 400 column-wheel chronograph, which Fratello reports runs at 36,000 vibrations per hour and has a 50-hour power reserve.
Edition and reported price

Artwork shaped for Ressence’s curved display
German painter and sculptor Daniel Engelberg created dials for two Type 8 variants: pink DE1 and turquoise DE2. Fratello links Engelberg’s concentric forms and vivid acrylic colors under glossy epoxy resin to Ressence’s own curved design language. The titanium case measures 42.9 mm; its reported overall profile is 11 mm, including the domed sapphire crystal.

The reported prices run from £1,000 for the Gimlet Brunswick 38 to €550,000 for the LVKV-02 GMR 6, but they are in different currencies and refer to different products and launch contexts.
