Stuff Associate Editor Spencer Hart wrote: “Ben Nevis in raw Scottish winter is one of the most unforgiving places I know. There is nowhere better to find out if gear actually works.” That is Hart’s personal assessment of the setting, not a published test protocol or a measured result for the watch. The article does not establish how either model performed under controlled conditions.
How do the two Mudmaster variants differ?
The launch account’s clearest distinction is the bezel finish. Stuff described the GG-B100XM-1A as silver-coloured with a matte stainless steel bezel, and the GG-B100XMB-1A as having a black ion-plated bezel with mirror polishing.
