Garmin announced the Enduro 4 on October 6, 2026, and says it is available now. The headline pricing news is that its US suggested retail price is $899.99—the same launch price Garmin listed for the Enduro 3 in 2024. That is an unchanged list price, not evidence of a discount or a current retailer deal.
What is Garmin’s newest endurance watch?
The Enduro 4 is Garmin’s latest GPS smartwatch aimed at long-duration outdoor activity. Garmin’s announcement describes it as its longest-lasting GPS smartwatch with solar charging. That is the company’s characterization; the battery figures below are manufacturer estimates, not independent test results.
Garmin Vice President of Consumer Sales and Marketing Susan Lyman said the watch is designed for athletes and adventurers who want gear they can trust across long efforts. That describes Garmin’s intended positioning, rather than independent evidence about endurance performance.
How long does the Garmin Enduro 4 battery last?
Garmin lists up to 320 hours in activity mode with solar charging, and up to 90 days in smartwatch mode. Both are conditional estimates: the modes and sunlight assumptions are not interchangeable, and actual runtime depends on use.

| Mode | Garmin’s estimate | Conditions stated by Garmin |
|---|---|---|
| Activity mode with solar charging | Up to 320 hours | Continuous use for the stated period in 50,000 lux conditions, using extended-battery activity mode. |
| Smartwatch mode | Up to 90 days | All-day wear and three hours per day outside in 50,000 lux conditions. |
These are estimates from Garmin International, Inc., in 2026, not independently verified results. The activity figure specifically depends on extended-battery mode and solar conditions; it should not be read as 320 hours in every GPS or activity configuration.
How much does the Garmin Enduro 4 cost?
Garmin lists the Enduro 4 at a US suggested retail price of $899.99. In its August 27, 2024 announcement, Garmin listed the Enduro 3 at the same US suggested retail price. So the Enduro 4’s announced list price is unchanged from its predecessor’s—not a price cut. Suggested retail prices do not establish what a retailer currently charges.

The Enduro 4’s long-duration positioning and its activity-mode estimate make it a different proposition from comparing watches by price or smartwatch runtime alone. Garmin’s August 2026 US announcement lists the fēnix 9 from $999.99 and the fēnix 9 Pro from $1,099.99. Their battery estimates vary by model and configuration:

| Watch or configuration | US suggested retail price listed by Garmin | Garmin-listed smartwatch battery estimate |
|---|---|---|
| Enduro 4 | $899.99 | Up to 90 days, with all-day wear and three hours per day outside in 50,000 lux. |
| fēnix 9 | Starting at $999.99 | Up to 29 days for the largest model. |
| fēnix 9 Pro | $1,099.99 | Up to 31 days for the largest AMOLED model. |
| Selected solar fēnix 9 and fēnix 9 Pro models | Not stated for this configuration in Garmin’s cited announcement. | Up to 57 days, assuming all-day wear and three hours per day outside in 50,000 lux. |
These figures are Garmin’s 2026 estimates and announced US prices. The fēnix estimates refer to different sizes, display types and, in some cases, solar configurations; they are not like-for-like measures against the Enduro 4’s activity-mode figure.
The practical comparison is whether the Enduro 4’s outdoor-focused battery claims, MIP display, maps and training tools match your use, or whether a fēnix configuration better suits your preferred display and feature mix. The available claims do not establish independent battery performance for any of these watches.
