The Girard-Perregaux Laureato Chronograph Aston Martin is a limited-edition collaboration, but the name refers to two distinct watches: a 2021 model in 904L stainless steel and a 2025 model in grade 5 titanium. Each edition was limited to 188 pieces. The newer titanium version is the current model to look for; its Wempe listing identifies reference 81020-21-3398-1CM and showed a price of $23,800 excluding tax when accessed on 8 October 2026.
What is the Girard-Perregaux Laureato Chronograph Aston Martin?
It is a Laureato Chronograph created by Swiss watchmaker Girard-Perregaux with Aston Martin. The collaboration has produced multiple watches; the two editions relevant here are the original steel model announced on 28 October 2021 and a titanium edition announced on 19 February 2025. Aston Martin described the 2025 release as the sixth timepiece from the partnership. The editions share the green Aston Martin association and a limited run, but differ in material, dial execution and some published specifications.

What stands out about the 2021 steel edition?
The original pairs a 42 mm 904L stainless-steel case and bracelet with the automatic Manufacture Calibre GP03300-0141. Its open sapphire caseback exposes the movement. On the dial, the chronograph registers sit alongside small seconds and a date display at 4:30. The green finish is unusually layered: Aston Martin says 21 applications of paint form seven layers. Its textured motif references the diamond-like cross-hatching of an earlier Aston Martin “AM” logo and quilted sports-car seats. Aston Martin’s 2021 announcement describes these details and the edition limit.
What is different about the 2025 titanium edition?
The later watch replaces the steel case and bracelet with grade 5 titanium, a material Aston Martin connects to its Valkyrie. Its iridescent green dial uses automotive paint and takes 14 manufacturing steps, according to the 2025 Aston Martin announcement. The release calls it the sixth collaboration timepiece and says selected Girard-Perregaux retailers worldwide offered it.
#1 Best Overall
- Brushed stainless steel case with polished finished beveled corners.
- Silver dial has a Clou de Paris Guilloche pattern. Black sub-dials
- GP Movement Caliber GP03300
- Water resistance depth: 100.0 meters
- Case diameter: 42.0 millimeters
Wempe identifies the model as reference 81020-21-3398-1CM and lists a 42 mm case, automatic GP03300 movement, chronograph, date, 46-hour power reserve and 10 bar water resistance. These retailer-listed details should not be assumed to apply to the 2021 steel edition. The official launch announcement does not state the 2025 reference or those specifications.
How many were made?
Both official launch announcements state a limit of 188 pieces: one limit for the 2021 steel edition and a separate 188-piece limit for the 2025 titanium edition. These are production limits, not confirmation of how many remain available or have sold.
Rank #2
- Girard Perregaux caliber GP03300, beats at 28,800 vph (4Hz), composed out of 419 parts, contains 63 Jewels & has an approximate power reserve of 46 hours.
- Power reserve: Min. 46 hours
What is the reference number?
For the 2025 titanium edition, Wempe lists reference 81020-21-3398-1CM. The 2021 Aston Martin announcement does not state a reference number, so that retailer reference should not be applied to the earlier steel watch.
How much does it cost?
Wempe displayed the 2025 reference at $23,800 excluding tax and marked it “Available” when accessed on 8 October 2026. Price, tax treatment and stock can vary by seller and region, so confirm them with the retailer before buying. The manufacturer’s standard 42 mm Laureato Chronograph is a different model: Girard-Perregaux listed it at USD 19,500 when accessed on 8 October 2026. That figure is collection context, not the Aston Martin edition’s price.

Where should you verify current availability?
The 2025 launch announcement says selected Girard-Perregaux retailers worldwide offered the watch. For a purchase, verify the exact reference, current regional price and stock directly with an authorized retailer. Wempe identifies its listing as an official concessionaire, but its availability indicator is time-sensitive. The manufacturer’s standard Laureato listing is not a substitute for checking the collaboration model.
