The event introduced the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a, alongside new Gemini and Pixel software features. For watch buyers, the Pixel Watch 4 was the event’s key wearable announcement; its exact current price and regional feature availability should be checked in Google’s live store before purchase.
What Google announced at Made by Google 2025
- Phones: Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
- Wearable: Pixel Watch 4, with a domed Actua 360 display, health and fitness additions, expanded Gemini integration, longer battery-life positioning and satellite communication support announced by Google.
- Audio: Pixel Buds 2a.
- Software: Gemini-powered features and Pixel-specific photography and productivity tools.
Google’s event recap summarizes the product announcements, while its official event announcement describes the Watch 4 and software highlights.
Pixel Watch 4: what changed, and what to check before buying
Google presented the Watch 4 as a design and feature update, highlighting its domed Actua 360 display, health and fitness functions, Gemini integration and satellite communication support. The announcement establishes the direction of the update, but the available source details do not provide a complete current US price, size and connectivity table. Check Google’s live store listing for the configuration sold in your region rather than relying on launch-era or third-party prices.

Satellite communication is not a universal replacement for cellular service or emergency communications. Availability can depend on country, carrier and regulatory approval. Likewise, do not assume every health feature is included without a subscription, or that the watch works with every phone: confirm Android compatibility, Fitbit Premium requirements, LTE plan needs and feature eligibility for your intended setup before checkout.
For a practical comparison, weigh the LTE model’s potential usefulness against the added cellular-plan cost, and judge battery claims against your own settings: always-on display, GPS, LTE and frequent health monitoring can affect real-world runtime. Also confirm charger compatibility rather than assuming a charger from another Pixel Watch generation will work.
Pixel 10 phones: the meaningful differences
All four phones use Google’s Tensor G5 generation, but they target different budgets and form factors. The base Pixel 10’s notable change is a rear telephoto camera, bringing it closer to the Pro models’ camera versatility. It also adds Pixelsnap magnetic wireless charging based on Qi2. The Pro phones emphasize more advanced camera hardware and higher memory and storage configurations.

- Unfold extraordinary with Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold; with Pixel’s largest screen and Gemini, Google’s most advanced AI, it’s made for multitasking and entertainment[1]
- Unlocked Android phone gives you the flexibility to change carriers and choose your own data plan[2]; it works with Google Fi, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and other major carriers
- Get a head start on syncing your data before it even arrives: After you purchase your new Pixel, look for an email that explains how to transfer your photos, videos, passwords, and more in just a few quick steps[14]
- The gearless, high-strength hinge makes it durable enough to handle about 10 years of folding[3]; plus, Pixel 10 Pro Fold is built with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance[4]
- The brighter-than-ever 8-inch Super Actua Flex display is Pixel’s largest screen yet[12]; and you can use Split Screen to plan a trip, drag and drop images, and open multiple apps at once[5]
| Model | Display and core specs | Best suited to | Main trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pixel 10 | 6.3-inch display; 12GB RAM; 128GB or 256GB storage; 48MP wide, 13MP ultrawide and 10.8MP 5x telephoto cameras | Buyers seeking the lower-cost, smaller Pixel 10 phone | Less RAM and a simpler display and camera package than the Pro models |
| Pixel 10 Pro | 6.3-inch display; 16GB RAM; Pro triple-camera system | People who want advanced cameras in a compact phone | Higher price and less screen and battery capacity than Pro XL |
| Pixel 10 Pro XL | 6.8-inch display; 16GB RAM; Pro triple-camera system | People who prioritize a large screen and battery-oriented design | Larger, heavier and more expensive |
| Pixel 10 Pro Fold | 6.4-inch outer screen and 8-inch inner screen; 16GB RAM | Multitasking, reading and video on a foldable display | High price, foldable-screen care and camera compromises versus slab phones |
Google’s official Pixel 10 specifications list up to 20x Super Res Zoom and Qi2 Pixelsnap charging up to 15W. The Pixel 10 Pro page describes the Pro lineup, and Google’s US configurator distinguishes the 6.3-inch Pro from the 6.8-inch Pro XL. US Pro and Pro XL listings specify eSIM-only models, so buyers should verify carrier compatibility before ordering.
Pixel 10 Pro Fold: the headline hardware, with real trade-offs
The Fold pairs a 6.4-inch outer Actua display with an 8-inch inner Super Actua Flex display. Google uses a gearless hinge and positions the phone as more durable, but that is a manufacturer claim, not a guarantee against damage. Dust, impact and inner-screen damage remain relevant risks; a foldable display should not be treated like a conventional slab-phone screen.
Google’s specification sheet lists Tensor G5, 16GB RAM, a triple rear-camera system with a 5x optical telephoto camera, a typical 5,015mAh battery, 30W wired charging and Qi2 wireless charging up to 15W. It also lists seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates. Battery duration claims such as “24+ hours” are Google estimates, not independent endurance results. Satellite communication availability is subject to geography, carrier and regulatory limits.

| US storage configuration | Google Store listed price |
|---|---|
| 256GB | $1,799 |
| 512GB | $1,919 |
| 1TB | $2,149 |
These are Google Store US configuration prices surfaced for the listed storage tiers, not a promise of current promotions or carrier pricing. The US Fold configurator is the source for those prices; trade-in and carrier offers are conditional and can change. See Google’s Fold product page and specification sheet for the product details.
The Fold makes most sense when the interior display is central to how you work or consume media. It is not automatically the best-value Pixel: its price is high, its camera hardware is not simply the same as the largest slab-model Pro system, and storage upgrades add substantially to the US list price.

Gemini and Pixel software features
Google highlighted Magic Cue for surfacing relevant information in context, Camera Coach for photography guidance, Gemini Live camera interaction, Add Me and generative photo-editing tools. The event recap also includes Remix in Google Messages and Gemini integration across Pixel devices.

Announcement does not mean every feature is available to every owner at once. Rollout timing, country, language, account eligibility, compatible app versions and possible Google AI plan requirements can affect access. Google’s Pixel 10 product page describes the phone features; check its current terms and your local availability before treating a feature as included in your setup.

Pixel Buds 2a were announced as a more affordable option in Google’s earbuds lineup. Google’s event recap confirms the launch, but the available details here do not establish current price, stock, colors or a complete feature comparison. Check the live product listing for those specifics, including noise-cancellation features by edition or software version.
For accessories, Qi2 certification matters more than the Pixelsnap branding alone: use a compatible charger and confirm its charging performance for the phone you own. A magnetic charger is optional; it is not a reason to replace a working USB-C charger unless magnetic alignment is useful to you.

Prices, availability and buying context in 2026
Google Store US pages list the Pixel 10 from $799, Pixel 10 Pro from $999 and Pixel 10 Pro XL from $1,199; the Fold begins at $1,799. Those are displayed list-price signals, not verified offers at the time you read this. Retrieved sale banners were marked as ending in July 2026, so their discounted figures should not be treated as current. Check the selected storage configuration and checkout terms for the final price.
Keep four different amounts separate when comparing offers: unlocked list price, temporary sale price, trade-in credit and total financing obligation. “Up to” trade-in values depend on device, condition, storage, carrier and eligibility; carrier discounts may require a qualifying plan, activation, new line or financing. The Pixel 10 configurator, Pixel 10 Pro configurator and Fold configurator show US configurations; prices, eSIM support, bands, financing and offers can differ outside the United States.
Who should consider the 2025 devices now?
- Pixel 9 owners: Compare the features you would use—especially the base model’s telephoto camera, Qi2 charging or a Fold form factor—with the cost of upgrading. A generation change alone is not a reason to replace a working phone.
- Pixel 8 or older owners: The Pixel 10 family brings Tensor G5, updated camera options and the stated seven-year support period for the Fold; compare the exact model and purchase price before choosing.
- Foldable-phone buyers: Consider the Fold for its large inner display, but account for screen-care concerns, price and camera trade-offs.
- Budget-conscious buyers: The standard Pixel 10 is the entry point in this lineup. Compare its current unlocked price against the Pro models rather than assuming an expired sale remains available.
- Pixel Watch 3 owners: Upgrade only if the Watch 4’s display, health, Gemini or connectivity changes solve a specific need; verify current feature support and LTE costs first.
- iPhone switchers: The Pixel ecosystem is built around Android, Google services and Fitbit. Confirm phone migration and wearable compatibility needs, particularly before choosing a Pixel Watch.
By August 2026, the Pixel 10 generation is no longer Google’s newest generation: Google has held a 2026 Made by Google event and announced Pixel 11 devices. The 2025 lineup is therefore best evaluated as a previous-generation purchase against current alternatives, not as the latest launch. See the 2026 event coverage for that generation’s announcement context.
