The brand’s event page lists five more models separately under “And More.”
Which Grand Seiko models were featured as new products?
Grand Seiko’s event page gives Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024 dates of April 9–15. Its “New Products” group contains four references; SBGD215, SLGH021, SBGW314, SBGJ277, and SBGE307 appear separately under “And More.” This distinction matters: the five additional models were on the event page, but were not in its featured new-products group. Grand Seiko’s 2024 event page identifies both groups.

SLGW002 and SLGW003: a new hand-wound Hi-Beat movement
The two Evolution 9 watches introduced Caliber 9SA4, which Grand Seiko described as its first new hand-wound high-beat movement in more than 50 years. It runs at 36,000 vibrations per hour—10 beats per second—and has an 80-hour power reserve, 47 jewels, and a stated mean daily rate of +5 to −3 seconds per day. Both watches measure 38.6 mm in diameter and 9.95 mm thick.

- Three-fold clasp with push button release
- Dual-curved sapphire crystal
- Power reserve display on the back
- Power resrve Approx. 72 hours(3 days)
The principal difference is the case and model status. SLGW002 is the rose-gold limited edition, while SLGW003 is made in Brilliant Hard Titanium and was announced as a mainstay model for boutiques and select retail partners worldwide. Grand Seiko describes the textured dial as inspired by white birch bark. The movement’s power-reserve indicator is visible on the dial, and the sapphire case back shows the movement. See the April 9, 2024 SLGW release for the brand’s specifications and launch details.
SLGT005: Kodo’s constant-force tourbillon
SLGT005 is a new iteration of Grand Seiko’s Kodo Constant-force Tourbillon, a high-complication watch rather than a conventional daily-wear sports model. Caliber 9ST1 combines the constant-force mechanism and tourbillon as one unit on a single axis. The manually wound movement has a stated 72-hour power reserve, including approximately 50 hours for the constant-force mechanism. Its case pairs a platinum 950 inner case with a Brilliant Hard Titanium outer case.

Grand Seiko announced a limited run of 20 and boutique availability from December 2024. Its April 9 release gave an approximate recommended US price of $395,000; that is a historical launch figure, not a current valuation or price quotation. Details are in the official SLGT005 release.
SBGC275: Spring Drive chronograph GMT
The Sport Collection SBGC275 marked the 20th anniversary of Grand Seiko’s Spring Drive Chronograph GMT. Its Caliber 9R96 is described by the brand as a specially adjusted version of Caliber 9R86. The functions include a GMT display and a chronograph measuring up to 12 hours. Published specifications include a 72-hour power reserve and 20 bar water resistance.

The 44.5 mm by 16.8 mm case and bracelet are made of high-intensity titanium. Grand Seiko says the dial’s shifting color comes from a patented Optical Multilayer Coating process and draws inspiration from sunrise light on Japan’s Hotaka mountain range. The limited edition of 700 was announced for July 2024 availability. Its approximately $13,400 recommended US price was the figure in the April 9 release, not a current market price. Consult the official SBGC275 announcement for the release specifications.

- For a smaller, manually wound dress watch: SLGW002 and SLGW003 share the 9SA4 movement and compact dimensions; the choice is between rose gold in a limited edition and Brilliant Hard Titanium as a mainstay model.
- For a mechanical complication showcase: SLGT005 combines a constant-force mechanism and tourbillon on a single axis, with precious metal and titanium in its case construction.
- For sports timing and a second time zone: SBGC275 combines a chronograph and GMT function in a larger titanium case with 20 bar water resistance.
These distinctions describe the announced watches, not a ranking of their performance or a claim about current stock. The official 2024 releases establish the launch specifications and plans; they do not establish present-day prices or availability.
