What is confirmed about the watch?
H. Moser & Cie.’s current Pioneer collection listing names the Pioneer Retrograde Seconds, REF. 3250-1200, and specifies a Midnight Blue dial. That listing establishes the model’s place in the collection; it does not establish a new 2026 launch or a three-model announcement.
The seconds display is at 6 o’clock. Rather than making a full circular sweep, its hand travels along a curved scale and returns to the beginning every 30 seconds. The brand’s official model manual describes the hand as flashing back to its starting position at that interval.
How does the retrograde-seconds mechanism work?
A retrograde hand moves across an arc instead of circling the dial continuously. On this watch, the arc represents 30 seconds; at the end of that span, the hand snaps back to its starting position and begins another pass. The reset is the defining visual feature, not a separate minutes or hours display.

The manual identifies the automatic movement as HMC 250, based on the HMC 201 basic calibre. It credits Agenhor SA with designing the retrograde module. These specifications distinguish the underlying calibre from the added mechanism that drives the distinctive seconds indication.

Is it suitable for water?
The Pioneer Retrograde Seconds manual specifies water resistance of 120 metres. The brand’s Pioneer collection page describes the collection as water-resistant to 12 ATM. These are the published ratings; they should not be read as a guarantee that an individual watch remains water-resistant without properly maintained seals or as a recommendation for any particular activity.
Were three new models announced together?
