The edition is limited to 1,999 watches. Hamilton says the number refers to 1999, the year Engineered Garments was founded by Daiki Suzuki. Hamilton’s collaboration story quotes Suzuki: “This configuration epitomizes the ideal field watch, both contemporary and timeless, embodying the essence of Hamilton Khaki x Engineered Garments.”

Why did the collaboration use a 36mm case?
Hamilton says Suzuki chose the 36mm size for its unisex appeal and versatility. The case diameter is one useful point of comparison when considering the watch, but the stated rationale is the designer’s; Hamilton’s published material does not establish how it will fit any particular wrist.
Release timing and availability
Hamilton’s collaboration story says the watch would be available at Nepenthes stores in New York City and Tokyo, and Hamilton Cat Street Tokyo, on October 17, followed by global availability on October 24. The captured story does not specify a year, so those dates identify the announced launch schedule rather than a dated release year or evidence of current stock.
