The Circula AquaSport GMT is a 40 mm, 20 ATM-rated automatic watch with a caller/office GMT: its 24-hour hand can track another time zone, but the local hour hand does not jump independently for travel. Circula specifies a Sellita SW330-2 Top Grade movement, sapphire crystal and a bidirectional 48-click sapphire bezel. Here’s how those features work and what to check before choosing a version.
Is the AquaSport GMT a “GMT diver”?
It combines a GMT display with a dive-style case and a stated 20 ATM water-resistance rating. That label does not, on its own, establish suitability for a particular dive. Circula provides the rating and construction details on its Anthracite product listing; consult the manufacturer’s guidance for intended use.
The bidirectional bezel has 48 clicks and a sapphire insert, according to Circula. Together with the 24-hour hand and its scale, it can help track additional time zones. Fratello’s Lex Stolk described the watch as able to display three time zones in his March 17, 2023 hands-on article. That is a use of the GMT hand and bezel together, not three independent time displays.
How does its caller/office GMT work?
Fratello calls it “a so-called office/caller GMT.” In practical terms, the GMT hand is set in hour steps to show a second time zone, while the local hour hand is not independently jumped forward or backward for travel. This is the distinction to keep in mind if you are comparing it with a flyer GMT, where the travel-setting behavior prioritizes moving local time in hour increments.

To follow another time zone, read the GMT hand against the 24-hour scale. The bidirectional bezel can be repositioned to represent a further offset, allowing the wearer to interpret another time zone alongside the watch’s local-time display. The combination can be useful for keeping track of home and destination times, but setting the watch for travel is not the same as on a flyer GMT.
What are the case dimensions and specifications?
These are Circula’s published specifications for the Anthracite model, not independent test results. The listed case height is given both with and without the crystal.

The accuracy and reserve figures are manufacturer specifications; they should not be read as a guarantee that every watch will perform identically in every condition. The movement is described by Circula as fine-adjusted in Pforzheim. Mainspring Watch Magazine also highlights the compact dimensions, 200 m rating and SW330-2 in its hands-on review.
What did reviewers report about the versions?
In his March 17, 2023 Fratello article, Lex Stolk tried the blue model on matching rubber and the Anthracite model on a Beads of Rice bracelet. He discusses the color combinations and says he prefers the Anthracite version. These are Stolk’s observations, not a claim that one configuration is objectively better.

Which straps and bracelets fit?
Circula lists tropical rubber and Beads of Rice steel strap choices, a quick-change system and a 20 mm lug width. A 20 mm quick-release watch strap is a grounded replacement-accessory search, but width alone does not guarantee compatibility: check the strap’s end shape and attachment against the particular watch and its quick-change arrangement.

Circula’s listings are variant- and region-specific, and prices and availability can change.
