The 2022 Laurent Ferrier Classic Traveller Magnetic Green is a 41 mm titanium dual-time watch built around a useful distinction: its central hour hand jumps to local time as you travel, while a small display at 9 o’clock keeps home time in view. The green dial stays unusually uncluttered for a travel watch, with the date at 3 and small seconds at 6. Laurent Ferrier made 15 examples of this Série Atelier III edition.
What makes this a Traveller?
Rather than adding a second hour hand at the center, the Classic Traveller assigns the central hour hand to local time and places home time on a rotating disc visible through the aperture at 9 o’clock. Laurent Ferrier says this arrangement avoids both a conventional second central hour hand and a separate home-time subdial.
Changing local time
Two corrector pushers on the case advance or move back the central local-time hour hand in one-hour steps. That lets the wearer adjust local time when crossing time zones without resetting the minutes.
Reading and setting home time
The 9 o’clock aperture shows home, or reference, time on a trailing disc. The crown sets this display. The date appears at 3 o’clock, with small seconds at 6.

A restrained green dial in polished titanium
The 41 mm case is polished grade 5 titanium. Its dial combines a sunburst-finished center with a circular satin-finished outer section, both in the shade Laurent Ferrier calls “magnetic green.” Applied white-gold markers and hands provide contrast without crowding the time displays. The watch was paired with a forest-green nubuck strap.
Monochrome lists the case thickness as 12.64 mm and lug-to-lug length as 49 mm. Those dimensions give a more complete sense of the watch’s footprint than its 41 mm diameter alone, although actual fit depends on wrist shape and the strap.

Calibre LF230.02 and its power reserve
The automatic calibre LF230.02 uses a micro-rotor and a natural escapement. Laurent Ferrier describes its power reserve as more than 72 hours; Monochrome lists 80 hours. These are the two sources’ respective specifications, rather than a single agreed figure.
Monochrome’s specification list also gives 44 jewels, 288 components and a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour. It lists water resistance at 30 metres, a modest rating suited to everyday splashes rather than swimming or diving.
