The Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF GMT Rattrapante adds a second time zone only when you need it: press the pusher at 8 o’clock to move the white-gold local-time hand forward in one-hour steps while the rose-gold hand keeps showing home time. Press the pusher integrated into the crown at 3 o’clock and the hands reunite, hiding the travel-time indication. The original steel Milano Blue reference, PFC905-1020001-100182, launched in 2022 at a reported CHF 26,000; that is a historical launch price, not a verified current price for that reference.
How the GMT Rattrapante works
The complication is designed to disappear when it is not needed. With the hands aligned, the watch presents a restrained two-hand display. For travel, the 8 o’clock pusher advances the white-gold local-time hand by one hour per press. The rose-gold hand remains on home time, so the two time zones can be read separately. Pressing the pusher integrated into the crown at 3 o’clock brings the hands back together. Parmigiani Fleurier describes the calibre PF051 mechanism as allowing the local hour hand to split from or reunite with the reference hour hand at the push of a button. Parmigiani Fleurier introduced the watch in March 2022. In its launch release, the Maison called it “the world premiere of its Tonda PF GMT Rattrapante, in which horological complication meets simplicity and purism.” That is the brand’s characterization of the launch. Original steel Milano Blue: hands-on specifications

The component count is not consistent across published specifications: the 2022 review reports 207, while Parmigiani Fleurier’s current collection page lists 215 for calibre PF051. The figures are attributed to their respective sources; the available information does not resolve the difference.
What the listed prices mean for the other variants
The current official listings distinguish the original reference from two other versions. The prices below were shown on Parmigiani Fleurier’s pages accessed on 8 October 2026; listed prices and availability can change.

The original and green-dial models are both steel with a 950 platinum bezel, but they have different references and dial colours. The rose-gold model is a different case and bracelet material. Parmigiani Fleurier’s steel Verzasca Green listing specifies a 40 mm case, 10.7 mm thickness, 60 m water resistance, and PF051 with a 48-hour reserve. Its rose-gold Milano Blue listing gives the same dimensions, water resistance, and reserve, alongside the 18-carat rose-gold case and bracelet. Neither listing establishes the current price of the original steel Milano Blue reference.

Parmigiani Fleurier identifies PF051 as a self-winding movement with a 22-carat rose-gold micro-rotor, a 48-hour power reserve, and 215 components on its current collection page. The micro-rotor supports automatic winding while preserving the movement’s slim profile; the practical point of the GMT arrangement is that the second hour indication can split from the reference hand for travel and reunite when it is no longer needed.

Because the extra indication is made by separating the hour hands rather than leaving a permanently offset GMT hand in view, the watch returns to a simple two-hand appearance at home. The pusher controls are the central operating distinction: the 8 o’clock pusher makes one-hour local-time adjustments, while the crown pusher restores alignment.
