The STOWA Marine Original Arabic is a 41 mm manually wound watch with a high-contrast Arabic-numeral dial, recessed small seconds and temperature-blued hands. STOWA presents it as a modern interpretation of a 1942 pocket watch. Its 50.2 mm lug-to-lug span is worth considering alongside the diameter when judging fit. The current stainless-steel listings offer a white lacquer dial or a solid silver dial.
What is the STOWA Marine Original Arabic?
It is a contemporary mechanical wristwatch in STOWA’s Marine range, drawing on the design of a 1942 pocket watch. The dial’s large black Arabic numerals and markings contrast with its light-colored surface, while a recessed subdial at six o’clock carries the small seconds. Central hours and minutes are indicated by blued hands. STOWA describes the hands as temperature-blued.
The polished stainless-steel case has a sapphire crystal and an exhibition case back, so the hand-wound movement is visible from the rear. STOWA lists the core specification on its white-dial product page; the silver-dial listing describes the alternate dial configuration.
How big is the STOWA Marine Original?
STOWA’s current listing gives a 41.0 mm case diameter, 12.1 mm height, 50.2 mm lug-to-lug measurement and 22.0 mm strap width. The relatively long lug-to-lug span is especially useful to consider: diameter alone does not tell the whole story of how much wrist space the case occupies.

The stated water resistance is up to 5 ATM. That rating is not, by itself, a manufacturer assurance that this particular watch is suitable for swimming or diving; STOWA’s captured listing does not make those usage claims.
What movement is inside the Marine Original Arabic?
The watch uses a manually wound Unitas 6498-1 in what STOWA calls top finish. The maker also specifies a screw balance and swan-neck regulator. The movement is shown through the sapphire case back; the silver-dial listing additionally describes decorative cuts in the movement.

The prices are listing details, not fixed long-term prices. STOWA’s white-dial page displayed an estimated production time of 13–14 days when accessed on 2026-10-08 and noted that international shipments may differ.
What does the STOWA Marine Original cost?
On the German STOWA storefront, the captured white high-gloss lacquer dial leather-strap configuration was listed at €1,890 including 19% VAT, while the solid-silver version was €1,990. The silver option therefore carried a €100 higher listed price in those listings. These are storefront prices accessed on 2026-10-08, not guaranteed prices for every configuration or destination.
