The NOMOS Club Sport neomatik 34 is the compact option in the automatic Club Sport line: a 34 mm steel watch with a DUW 3001 movement, screw-down crown, and manufacturer-rated 20 atm water resistance. It comes in three dial colors, each with a choice of solid or sapphire display back. The proportions and bracelet details make it more informative to consider its lug-to-lug span and thickness—not diameter alone—when judging fit.
Three dial colors, six reference and caseback combinations
NOMOS lists the 34 mm Club Sport neomatik in gold (reference 755), rosé (756), and purple (757). Each color is offered with either a stainless-steel back or a sapphire display back. The caseback choice changes what you see on the reverse; the available specifications do not indicate a different movement by back type.
| Dial | Reference | Caseback choices |
|---|---|---|
| Gold | 755 | Stainless-steel or sapphire display back |
| Rosé | 756 | Stainless-steel or sapphire display back |
| Purple | 757 | Stainless-steel or sapphire display back |
These are distinct dial-color options rather than different sizes or movements. To compare the three, look at the colors in the lighting and with the bracelet finish you expect to wear; the reference numbers identify the dial, while the back is a separate configuration choice. NOMOS’s official product page lists the variants and specifications.
How the 34 mm proportions may wear
The case measures 34 mm across. Fratello’s November 14, 2024 hands-on report gives dimensions of 34 × 41 × 8.2 mm, including a roughly 41 mm lug-to-lug span and 8.2 mm thickness. Those figures help explain why the watch may wear compactly without relying on diameter alone: lug-to-lug is useful when comparing how a case spans the top of a wrist, while thickness affects how it sits beneath a cuff.

- Nomos Club Campus Neomatik 39 Automatic Men's Watch 765
Fratello’s reviewer reported that the watch sat well on a 17 cm wrist. That is one wearer’s observation, not a fit guarantee; wrist shape, personal preference, and how a bracelet is sized all affect the result. Hodinkee also reports 8.2 mm thickness and a 20 atm rating in its November 14, 2024 launch coverage. Its description of the watch as versatile and unisex is the author’s judgment, not a manufacturer-defined category.
For a smaller wrist or a preference for restrained proportions, compare the 41 mm span with watches you already find comfortable. For someone used to larger sports watches, the 34 mm case may look deliberately compact. There is no universal threshold at which 34 mm is too small for a sports watch; the fit depends on the wearer and the visual balance they want.

Movement, water resistance, and dial legibility
NOMOS specifies the automatic DUW 3001 movement, a screw-down crown, and water resistance of 20 atm. The 20 atm figure is the manufacturer’s rating, not a claim that every activity or condition is suitable; follow NOMOS’s guidance for water use and crown operation. NOMOS also specifies Super-LumiNova on the hands and hour markers.
Fratello’s November 2024 report lists a 43-hour power reserve and 37 jewels for the movement. Treat those as specifications reported in that launch-era coverage, rather than additional details on NOMOS’s currently accessed product listing.

Bracelet details and caseback trade-offs
The bracelet is designed for the compact case and tapers from 18 mm at the lugs to 16 mm, according to Fratello’s November 14, 2024 report. The reviewer describes polished center links and brushed outer links, plus a quick-release spring bar and micro-adjustment feature. The polished clasp surface can scratch, the same review notes. These are reviewer-reported observations; check the bracelet and adjustment system in person if those details will determine your choice.
A solid steel back gives the reverse a closed appearance; the sapphire display back exposes the movement to view. Both options are listed for the dial variants. Decide whether seeing the movement matters more to you than a solid-back look, then compare the price for the exact configuration in your market.
