The Bianchet B 1.618 Flying Tourbillon UltraFino Skeleton Carbon pairs a high-density carbon case with an automatic flying tourbillon movement. Its case is 8.9mm thick; Monochrome Watches reports weights of 32g without a strap, 52g on rubber and 62g on the integrated carbon bracelet. Those figures make “featherweight” more than a nickname, but the weight measurements belong to Monochrome’s January 2026 hands-on report, not an independent measurement here.
How light is the Bianchet UltraFino Carbon?
Monochrome Watches reports three weights for the watch: 32g without a strap, 52g with the rubber strap and 62g with the integrated carbon bracelet. The difference between configurations is substantial, so the strap matters when interpreting the headline figure. These are Monochrome’s published measurements from its January 28, 2026 hands-on article, rather than manufacturer specifications.

Bianchet describes the case and bracelet as high-density carbon. Monochrome’s report adds that the case uses 500 layers of compressed carbon fibre arranged at 45-degree angles, with vulcanized rubber inserts. That construction detail and the weights are attributed to Monochrome, not independently verified measurements.
How thin is the case?
Bianchet lists the watch at 40mm wide, 47.39mm long and 8.9mm thick. The thin profile is notable alongside the automatic tourbillon complication; the dimensions describe the complete watch case, while the UT01 movement itself is 3.85mm thick according to Bianchet.

The official white carbon model is reference UFFTSKCBW. Bianchet lists 5 ATM water resistance and resistance to shocks up to 5,000 G, as well as Swiss Made status. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results.
What movement does it use?
The UT01 is an automatic flying tourbillon calibre made from Grade 5 titanium, with a solid gold rotor. Bianchet specifies a titanium main plate, bridges and tourbillon cage, a suspended barrel, 29 jewels, and a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz). The tourbillon completes one rotation in 60 seconds.
Monochrome reports a 60-hour power reserve. Bianchet describes the movement as its first automatic flying tourbillon calibre, designed around the Golden Ratio 1.618; that is the manufacturer’s characterization, rather than an independent technical assessment.
The skeletonized layout leaves the movement on display, with the suspended barrel at 12 o’clock and the tourbillon at 6 o’clock, as described by Monochrome.

What does the Bianchet UltraFino Carbon cost?
Prices differ by source and tax basis, so they should not be treated as equivalent quotes. Bianchet’s official white carbon product page lists CHF 67,500 excluding taxes and says a reservation requires a 10% deposit. Monochrome’s January 28, 2026 article gives CHF 65,500 excluding taxes. A GPHG model-record search result surfaced CHF 70,800 including VAT; the record page itself was not readable, so that figure is best treated as an attributed listing rather than a verified current offer.
| Source and date | Listed price | Tax basis |
|---|---|---|
| Bianchet official white carbon page, accessed October 8, 2026 | CHF 67,500 | Excluding taxes |
| Monochrome Watches, January 28, 2026 | CHF 65,500 | Excluding taxes |
| GPHG model record, surfaced October 8, 2026 | CHF 70,800 | Including VAT |
For a material comparison, Bianchet’s official Titanium Blue UltraFino page lists CHF 62,500 excluding taxes. It shares the 40 × 47.39 × 8.9mm dimensions and UT01 family specifications, but it is a titanium model, not the carbon watch.
Bracelet, strap and guarantee
Bianchet offers the watch with an integrated carbon bracelet or a natural vulcanized rubber strap, and lists a five-year guarantee. Monochrome says both configurations use a quick-release system; that detail is reported by the publication rather than shown in Bianchet’s readable specifications.
The white carbon version is not the only carbon configuration: Bianchet also lists a sky-blue carbon variant, reference UFFTSKCBSB. Check the reference when comparing listings, since color and reference identify distinct variants.
