The 2024 Christopher Ward C65 Dune GMT in White Sand is the second standard-production version of the C65 Dune GMT, following a 200-piece black-dial limited edition. Its defining change is the light dial paired with a green 24-hour GMT scale. The 38 mm steel watch uses an automatic Sellita SW330-2 movement whose GMT hand advances in one-hour steps: it is a caller-style GMT, not a traveler’s GMT with an independently jumping local-hour hand.
Which C65 Dune GMT is this?
This is the White Sand dial version introduced in 2024, reference C65-38AGM3-S00E0-B0. It followed a 200-piece black-dial limited edition as the second standard-production version. “Second” describes that point in the model’s chronology, not the newest C65 Dune GMT: Christopher Ward introduced a blue-dial Eve version in 2025, which Fratello describes as the second standard-production version and third variant overall. What changed on the White Sand version?
The principal change is visual: a White Sand dial replaces the limited edition’s black dial, while the 24-hour GMT scale is green. Fratello’s 2024 description also lists applied indices, Old Radium Super-LumiNova, a date, box-type sapphire crystal, a screw-in steel-and-sapphire caseback, and a 20 mm canvas-strap option. How big is the C65 Dune GMT?
For the 2024 White Sand version, Fratello gives dimensions of 38 mm in diameter, 43.7 mm lug-to-lug, and 11.9 mm thick. Christopher Ward’s specification sheet lists the same dimensions and gives the watch-head weight as 57 g. Is it a caller or traveler GMT?
It is a caller-style GMT. The automatic Sellita SW330-2 has a 24-hour GMT hand, but the manufacturer’s instructions say that hand moves in one-hour increments. That is useful for tracking another time zone while the main hands continue to show your local time. A traveler-style GMT instead lets you move the local hour hand independently in one-hour steps, which is generally more convenient when changing time zones. - Unscrew the crown. Turn it counterclockwise to release it from the case.
- Wind the watch at position 2. With the crown unscrewed, use position 2 for winding.
- Correct the date or GMT hand at position 3. Turn the crown counterclockwise for rapid date correction; turn it clockwise to move the GMT hand in one-hour increments.
- Set the time at position 4. This position sets the time and stops the seconds hand.
- Screw the crown back down. Return it flush against the case after setting or winding.

What are its water resistance and strap options?
Christopher Ward rates the C65 Dune GMT at 150 m (15 ATM) water resistance and specifies a screw-down crown. The 2024 review listed canvas, leather, and steel-bracelet configurations. Its reported prices were €1,250 on canvas, €1,265 on leather, and €1,465 on the steel bracelet. What does the hands-on account establish?
Fratello reviewer Jorg Weppelink reported wearing the first version for a couple of weeks and missing its limited release. That is his firsthand context for the model’s earlier version; the available account does not establish that he wore or tested the White Sand watch. It therefore supports the version history, but not claims about the White Sand model’s wrist comfort, lume performance, timekeeping, or long-term durability.
