What is the Singer Reimagined Caballero?
The Caballero is a stainless-steel wristwatch displaying hours, minutes and central seconds, without a date or other complication. The launch collection was reported in Piano Black, Empire Green and Petrol Blue. Fratello reviewed the Empire Green model in September 2025.
The name belongs to Singer Reimagined, the watchmaking arm of the company known for its work with Porsche 911s. Here, the emphasis is not on a racing-style chronograph but on a simple display paired with an unusual movement architecture.
How the Caballero looks and wears
A sparse dial with mechanical details
The dial has no conventional hour markers. An applied Singer logo, four apertures revealing the barrel rubies and a toothed, gold-colored flange provide its main points of detail. Orange luminous material on the hands and an orange central seconds hand add contrast. The green dial was described by Fratello’s reviewer as layered and visually deep; the reviewer also found the prominent hands easy to read.

The open apertures and lack of indices give the dial a distinctive, uncluttered appearance, but they may not suit someone who wants a traditional, quickly indexed layout. Fratello’s reviewer noted that the visible rubies and sparse design divided opinion among colleagues.
Case dimensions and wrist impression
Fratello reports a 39 mm case diameter, 10.5 mm thickness and 45 mm lug-to-lug length. The reviewer found the proportions comfortable and the watch lightweight on its textile strap with leather details. That is a hands-on impression of the reviewed setup, rather than a guarantee of fit on every wrist.

The watch has a sapphire crystal, an exhibition caseback and 50 m water resistance. Those dimensions and resistance rating are specifications, not evidence that the watch was independently tested for water resistance.
What is inside: the Calibre-4 Solotempo
The Caballero uses Singer Reimagined’s manually wound Calibre-4 Solotempo. Four barrels are arranged as two pairs working in parallel, an architecture intended to provide stable energy delivery over the movement’s stated 144-hour, or six-day, power reserve. The reserve is a published specification; the available review material does not report an independent run-down test.

Fratello lists the movement at 28,800 vibrations per hour and 33 jewels, with 109 turns for a full wind. Its stated accuracy is -4/+6 seconds per day. These are reported specifications, not independently verified performance measurements.

Straps, price and availability
Reported strap options included deep-blue leather and khaki or black textile, with a 20 mm lug width tapering to 16 mm at the buckle. Those measurements establish the nominal width, but not the attachment style or fit of a particular replacement strap.
Launch-period coverage listed a price of CHF 17,500 before taxes and described production as limited. Singer’s release language, reproduced by Deployant, said the collection would be available through official Singer Reimagined retailers or by contacting the brand’s sales team. Who is the Caballero for?
The Caballero is most compelling for someone who values movement architecture and an unconventional dial in a relatively compact, time-only watch. The four-barrel layout and stated six-day reserve give the watch a technical focal point even though the display itself is deliberately simple.
It is less straightforward for a buyer who prefers hour indices, a date, or a conventional dial layout. Fratello’s review offers a favorable impression of the comfort and legibility of the dominant hands, alongside a useful reminder that the spare dial and exposed rubies are divisive design choices. The launch price also places it firmly in the high-end segment, with the current price requiring confirmation.
