Reviewer Jorg Weppelink liked the added dial depth and overall finish, but thought the integrated bracelet was too wide and needed more taper. The dimensions, movement figures, and €890 price below are those reported in that 2023 article, not confirmed current specifications or pricing.
What changed across the three Urban Traveller models?
The versions in Fratello’s review share the same design and differ primarily in dial color: silver, blue, and salmon. Each has an embossed dial pattern, which gives the otherwise simple time display more surface texture.
Weppelink placed the Urban Traveller between two Yema design cues: he described it as pairing the accessible movement and price positioning of an earlier Traveller with the dial layout of the micro-rotor Traveller. He also noted partial inspiration from Yema’s 1980s Sous-Marine quartz model. The case is asymmetrical and octagonal, with a notched bezel.

These are the specifications published by Fratello in 2023, not a current manufacturer product listing. The article describes the YEMA2000 as Yema’s base automatic movement and says this watch uses its no-date version.

What did the reviewer think on the wrist?
Weppelink reported that the watches felt less chunky on the wrist than their photographs suggested. He praised the embossed pattern for adding depth, preferred the silver dial for its visual balance, and found the salmon version the most distinctive. Those are his impressions from a short hands-on experience, not measurements or a consensus among owners.
He considered the bracelet solid and well finished, but felt its width and limited taper detracted from refinement and comfort. His criticism is specifically about how the bracelet transitions from its 24 mm width at the case; the review does not establish how every wearer will find the fit.

Price and what the review can establish
Fratello listed the Urban Traveller at €890 in its article published July 2, 2023. That is a historical publication-time price. The article does not establish present-day pricing, stock, or whether these variants remain in production.
The review frames the Urban Traveller as an integrated-bracelet sports watch and mentions the Tissot PRX as a point of comparison. Its useful comparison points are case dimensions, dial design, bracelet width and taper, movement and power reserve, and water resistance. The dated article does not support a current price comparison.

Weppelink also expressed approval of the no-date layout, writing: “I love that Yema hasn’t chosen a date version of the movement because the simplicity of the dial works really well.” This is the reviewer’s design opinion, not a statement from Yema.
