Vacheron Constantin’s Traditionnelle Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar 270th Anniversary pairs a tourbillon with a perpetual calendar in a 127-piece limited edition. The manufacturer specifies a self-winding movement, Calibre 2162 QP/270, while hands-on reviews report a 42 mm platinum case and 72-hour power reserve. Its anniversary character is expressed through a hand-guilloché Maltese-cross-inspired dial and specially finished movement bridges.
What the anniversary edition is
Vacheron Constantin presents the Traditionnelle Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar as a 270th-anniversary limited edition of 127 pieces. It combines two traditional complications: a tourbillon regulator and a perpetual calendar. The official model description is on Vacheron Constantin’s product page.
Movement and calendar
The manufacturer identifies the self-winding movement as Calibre 2162 QP/270, based on Calibre 2160. Vacheron Constantin gives the calibre a thickness of 6.55 mm and a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour, or 2.5 Hz. That 6.55 mm figure is the movement thickness, not the case thickness.
The perpetual calendar displays the day, date, month and year. Vacheron Constantin says the calendar will not require manual adjustment before 2100. This is a manufacturer statement about calendar adjustment; it does not establish a claim about the watch’s timekeeping accuracy.
#1 Best Overall
- Free-sprung Balance Manta Series Tourbillon.
SJX and Fratello both report a 72-hour power reserve. Fratello describes the movement’s peripheral rotor as leaving the movement visible, and notes calendar registers at three, nine and twelve o’clock, along with a leap-year aperture. These are details from the reviewers’ 2025 hands-on coverage, not specifications stated on the official product page consulted here: SJX’s review and Fratello’s review.
Case dimensions and wearing impressions
SJX and Fratello list a 42 mm platinum case measuring 11.1 mm thick, with 30 m water resistance. These are reported case specifications from the 2025 reviews. Both also report the 72-hour power reserve.

- Exclusive Limited Edition Only 100 Pieces Worldwide: Each LONGIO Volcan Tourbillon is part of a strictly limited run of just 100 pieces worldwide, ensuring true rarity and exceptional collector's value
- A Tribute to Earth's Sublime Power: Inspired by the majestic force of volcanic eruptions, the Volcan blends elemental power with refined elegance for a distinctive luxury statement
- Central Tourbillon Engineering: Features a rare mechanical hand-wound central tourbillon rotating once every 60 seconds, with 16 precision screws on the cage to achieve balance
- High-Performance Hand-Wound Movement: Driven by a hand-wound mechanical movement beating at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz), with 19 jewels and an impressive 48-hour power reserve, visible through a sapphire crystal case back
- Robust 42mm DLC Titanium Case: Engineered from lightweight titanium and finished with Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating for exceptional scratch resistance and a sophisticated black aesthetic, ensuring durability and elegance
SJX characterizes the watch as large but thin, and says it wears wide. Fratello’s reviewer likewise says it wears big at 42 mm and personally would prefer a smaller size. Those are subjective impressions, not a guarantee of how the watch will fit a particular wrist. Trying it on is the most useful way to judge its presence.
Anniversary dial and movement finishing
The manufacturer describes a hand-guilloché gold dial with a motif inspired by the Maltese cross, Vacheron Constantin’s emblem since 1880. It calls the motif a signature of the anniversary limited editions. On the movement bridges, the brand specifies a special “côte unique” finish.

- Genuine Offset Flying Tourbillon, 40H Power Reserve: 9 o'clock visible tourbillon, Caliber 8001 manual wind, no battery, NOT automatic, accuracy-tested 15+ days. Asymmetric layout breaks the traditional 6 o'clock convention — a distinctive gift for enthusiasts of geometric design and offset tourbillon mechanics.
- Dodecagonal 12-Sided 316L Steel Case: 42mm twelve-facet case with brushed + polished finishes, higher machining complexity than a round case, catching light from every angle. Slim profile fits daily wear; architectural wrist presence that stands apart from conventional designs.
- Full Skeleton Dial + Luminous Hands: exposed gear train with black striped bridges, golden gears and jewels; light-charged luminous coating for clear reading in the dark. Industrial mechanical beauty on the wrist, day and night.
- Sapphire Crystal Front & Back (Mohs 9): scratch-resistant sapphire on both sides, second only to diamond; integrated 316L steel bracelet with solid 3-link construction and butterfly clasp for secure daily wear.
- 5ATM (50M) Splash Protection Only: safe for rain, splashes and hand washing — NOT for swimming, showering or diving; rinse after saltwater; wind daily. 3-year movement warranty; gift-ready for dad, husband or boyfriend.
SJX observes that the dial pattern radiates from a Maltese cross between seven and eight o’clock, but appears more subtle here because the calendar sub-dials occupy much of the dial. The reviewer also notes that the anniversary details are more apparent up close. These are visual observations from its hands-on review.

The reviews also disagree on the reference number: SJX prints 6300/000P-H056, while Fratello prints 6300T/000P-H056. Because the two reports conflict, verify the reference with Vacheron Constantin before treating either as definitive or using it to identify a listing.
