The SpaceOne Tellurium puts a moving Earth and Moon around a central Sun, with the display linked mechanically to the watch’s calendar. It is an animated celestial complication first and a conventional timepiece second: it also shows hours, minutes, date and month, but the planet display is the point. The practical trade-offs are a 50 mm case length, 16 mm thickness, a date that needs correction in 30-day months, and a 3 ATM water-resistance rating.
What does the SpaceOne Tellurium show?
The Tellurium is a mechanical model of the Earth and Moon moving around a central Sun. The watch also provides hours, minutes, date and month. SpaceOne co-founder Guillaume Laidet described the design ambition to Europa Star in April 2024: “I wanted space and planets.” That captures the priority: this is a celestial display with timekeeping alongside it, rather than a conventional dial optimized above all for instant time reading.
SpaceOne says the display represents Earth’s annual orbit and the Moon’s 29.5-day full cycle. The company says that, when precisely adjusted, the indication can help anticipate events such as the next full moon. That is the maker’s explanation of what the display represents, not a published independent accuracy test.
How is the planet display connected to the calendar?
The complication sits on an additional plate connected to the automatic Soprod P024 H4 movement. SpaceOne’s mechanism explanation describes a chain in which the calendar date advances the month and Tellurium indications as well as the date disc.

The maker reports 37 components for the complication, 18 casing components and 65 assembly operations. These are manufacturer-reported figures; the cited product information does not present them as independently audited counts.
What calendar adjustment does it need?
The date is not perpetual. SpaceOne explicitly says owners must correct it in 30-day months. Its mechanism explanation says to use the quick-date function to adjust the positions, with fine-tuning through time-setting as needed. In practical terms, expect a manual correction when a shorter month ends rather than a calendar that automatically accounts for every month’s length.

These specifications are from the official product listing, which does not state a publication date. The 3 ATM rating is not a basis for treating the watch as suitable for swimming. The listed strap tapers from 22 mm at the attachment to 18 mm at the buckle; a replacement strap needs the right attachment style and usable length as well as a compatible width and taper.

The strongest everyday consideration is the format. At 50 mm long and 16 mm thick, the case has substantial dimensions even though its width is 42 mm. Anyone considering it should compare all three measurements with a watch they can try on, especially lug-to-lug length and thickness, rather than judging fit by diameter alone.

The dial’s moving celestial display is the attraction, but it also makes the Tellurium a different kind of time-reading experience from a simple hours-and-minutes watch. A prospective buyer should decide whether the planetary mechanism is the feature they want to interact with, and whether the non-perpetual date correction is acceptable. SpaceOne says the complication is connected to the base movement; the published material cited here does not provide independent timing-test results.
Hodinkee’s December 2, 2024 hands-on likewise frames the Tellurium as an avant-garde watch and notes that its date is not perpetual. That article recounts the brand’s Kickstarter suspension following an intellectual-property dispute and subsequent delivery of watches; it should be read as historical reporting, not as a statement about current legal status or present company risk.
Price and availability
When the official listing was accessed on October 7, 2026, it showed €2,990 before taxes, a stated 300-piece limit and “Sold out.” These are the page’s status and terms at that time, not a guarantee of current or future stock. The original 2024 launch terms were different: Fratello reported a €2,990 price including VAT and a preorder window from April 4 to May 5, 2024, with delivery then expected in November or December 2024. Those launch dates have passed and do not establish current availability.
