The Forstner Bullet Bracelet gives an Omega Speedmaster Professional a vintage-inspired five-link look, with rounded, angled links and a solid, milled clasp. In Fratello’s December 2022 hands-on, Nacho Conde Garzón found it easy to fit and comfortable in motion, though he noticed occasional pinching and a clasp that looked substantial beside the bracelet’s tapered links. The key buying check is compatibility: choose the version for your Speedmaster’s generation, or confirm your watch’s lug width before choosing the straight-end option.
What is the Forstner Bullet Bracelet?
The bracelet revisits a design associated with the 1960s Jacoby Bender Bullet bracelet, originally offered as an OEM option for the Bulova Accutron Astronaut. Forstner describes the historical connection on its official product page; Fratello’s hands-on article also traces the modern design to that earlier bracelet.
The modern version uses solid stainless-steel links and a milled clasp. Its rounded, angled five-link pattern combines brushed and polished surfaces, giving it a more sculpted appearance than a simple three-link bracelet. The straight-end and fitted versions share the design language but differ where the bracelet meets the watch case.
Which version fits your watch?
Choose by exact watch model and generation, not just by appearance or lug width. Forstner lists a straight-end bracelet in several widths and a separate, model-fitted Speedmaster Professional bracelet. Its current Speedmaster listing distinguishes the Cal. 1861/former-generation version from the current Cal. 3861 version, even though both are listed for 20 mm lugs.

How did it fit and feel on the Speedmaster?
In his Fratello hands-on, published December 19, 2022, Nacho Conde Garzón says he wore the straight-end and Speedmaster versions over a couple of weeks. He found installation easy, the links well articulated, and the watch sat flat when off the wrist. He described the finish as pleasant, while judging it short of the latest Swiss Omega bracelet.

His comfort impression was positive overall, but not without a caveat: he reports occasional pinching. He also found the clasp visually chunky relative to the links’ taper. These are the reviewer’s observations from his own wear, not a universal fit guarantee. His example involved removing two links from either side and using six clasp micro-adjustment positions; neither figure should be treated as a sizing prescription for every wrist or configuration.
