The Tudor Pelagos 25600TB, currently listed as reference M25600TB-0001, pairs a blue dial and bezel with a 42 mm titanium-and-steel case, a COSC-certified manufacture movement, and a 500 m water-resistance rating. Its defining appeal is a practical, tool-watch specification in a brighter colorway; whether that blue feels versatile or conspicuous is a matter of taste. Tudor’s current product page lists a suggested retail price of $6,025, but prices and model details can change, so check the current listing for your market.
What is the Tudor Pelagos 25600TB?
The 25600TB is the blue version of the Pelagos reference family. Tudor’s current listing identifies it as M25600TB-0001. The model arrived in 2015 alongside the black 25600TN as an update to the earlier Pelagos 25500TN. At launch, reviewers focused on the new blue color, revised dial lettering, and the change from the earlier ETA-based movement to Tudor’s MT5612 manufacture calibre.
Those early hands-on accounts are useful for understanding what changed at introduction, not for establishing how the watch wears for every wrist or what it costs or sells for today. Robert-Jan Broer of Fratello called the blue model more conspicuous than the black version; Time+Tide’s Felix Scholz described the color as bright and casual. Both are subjective impressions, not measurements.

How the blue dial and bezel change the Pelagos
The blue dial and matt blue ceramic bezel disc make this Pelagos more visually assertive than its black counterpart. The bezel’s luminous 60-minute graduations and the dial’s luminous markers keep the layout oriented toward legibility and elapsed-time use rather than a dress-watch appearance.
At the 2015 introduction, reviewers also noted the four-line dial text and a change to the marker beside the date: the earlier partial luminous marker was removed. Broer considered the new text a busier detail, while Scholz connected the brighter color with a more casual character. Those comments describe how the watch struck two reviewers at launch; they are not objective measures of color, legibility, or preference.

What the MT5612 and 70-hour reserve mean
The self-winding MT5612 uses a bidirectional rotor and is COSC-certified. Tudor lists an approximately 70-hour power reserve, meaning the watch can continue running for roughly that period off the wrist when fully wound, subject to actual use and conditions. The longer reserve offers more flexibility than a typical overnight rest: the watch may still be running after a weekend away from it.
Fratello and Time+Tide both highlighted the movement transition from the ETA 2824-2 in the preceding 25500TN. Tudor’s circa-2015 press materials list 28,800 beats per hour (4 Hz), 26 jewels, and an approximately 70-hour reserve. Those are launch-era details; Tudor’s current product page confirms the calibre and reserve but does not state beat rate or jewel count.

Using the bezel and crown
Tudor describes the bezel as a way to measure dive times: “The unidirectional rotatable bezel allows precise measurement of dive times.” Because it rotates in one direction, an accidental movement is intended to make the elapsed-time indication more conservative rather than extending the apparent remaining time. Tudor also says the bezel is deliberately harder to turn when its zero marker is at 12 o’clock, reducing the chance of inadvertent rotation from that position.
The crown screws down to help ensure water resistance. After setting or winding the watch, Tudor’s user guide says to tighten it fully. The helium escape valve is positioned at 9 o’clock. These are manufacturer-described functions; this article does not independently test diving performance or water resistance. See Tudor’s official user guides for operating instructions.

The supplied blue rubber strap and buckle give the watch a second configuration without requiring an aftermarket purchase, and Tudor also lists an extra extension piece in the package.
The stated 22 mm lug width is the distance between the lugs, not a guarantee that every 22 mm third-party strap, curved end link, or clasp will fit properly. Check the specific strap’s construction and compatibility before ordering.

Price, warranty, and what to verify before buying
Tudor displayed a suggested retail price of $6,025 on the product page accessed in 2026. This is a listed suggested retail price, not a promise of current pricing or availability in every country. Confirm the currency, local taxes, current reference status, and stock with Tudor or an authorized retailer. The historical Swiss launch price was CHF 4,200 including VAT in Tudor’s circa-2015 press materials; that figure is not a current price.
Tudor states that the watch comes with a five-year transferable guarantee and that registration or periodic maintenance checks are not required. Warranty terms can depend on current policy and region, so verify the applicable conditions with Tudor or an authorized retailer before purchase. Use Tudor’s official retailer locator to find a local point of sale.
Who is the 25600TB for?
The 25600TB makes the most sense for someone who wants a substantial, highly water-resistant titanium diver with a blue rather than black presentation, a long listed reserve, and both bracelet and rubber-strap options supplied by Tudor. Its 42 mm diameter and 14.3 mm thickness are important fit considerations; the 22 mm lug width alone does not tell you how the watch will sit on your wrist.
If you are choosing between this and a Tudor Black Bay, compare the exact models rather than treating the families as interchangeable. The launch-era reviewers raised the “Black Bay or Pelagos?” question, but current specifications and prices for a particular Black Bay or other alternative need to be checked separately. Relevant points include case dimensions and material, dial and bezel layout, movement and reserve, water-resistance rating, clasp adjustment, included straps, and current local price.
