Measure your wrist first, then have a metal Breitling bracelet sized by a Breitling boutique, authorized retailer, or authorized service center unless you have reliable instructions for your exact bracelet. Breitling’s public strap-change guide explains how to change a strap at the lugs; it is not a general guide to removing metal links.
First identify what needs adjusting
A metal bracelet is sized by changing its link length. Rubber, leather, and fabric straps are adjusted differently, and strap-length guidance does not tell you how many metal links to remove. If you are unsure which type you have, check the watch documentation or ask a Breitling service channel before attempting an adjustment.

Measure your wrist before requesting a size
Use Breitling’s printable bracelet sizing tool to measure your wrist circumference. Place the ruler at the wrist bone or about 1 cm (1/2 inch) above it, and leave enough room for a flat index finger. Read the measurement at the upper edge of the marked section. Measure your wrist alone: do not include the watch head.

Choose the right adjustment route
Metal bracelet bought through Breitling online or its contact center
Breitling’s Swiss English FAQ says it offers complimentary sizing of metal bracelets when a watch is purchased online or through its contact center. This stated benefit is tied to those purchase channels; the page does not establish that complimentary sizing applies to every owner or in every region.
Metal bracelet bought elsewhere
Contact a Breitling boutique, authorized retailer, or authorized service center to ask about sizing. Breitling identifies these channels for bracelet and strap service and directs customers to nearby retailers for assistance. Its service pages do not state the fee or availability for a particular adjustment, so confirm both with the location before visiting: All Our Services and Services for Your Watch.

Rubber, leather, or fabric strap
For a rubber strap, Breitling’s FAQ recommends visiting a boutique or authorized dealer for sizing. The official strap-change instructions cover changing a strap where it attaches to the watch lugs. That is different from resizing a metal bracelet by removing links.

Bracelet construction and fasteners can differ. The official guidance cited here does not provide one link-removal procedure for every Breitling model, or establish which tool fits your bracelet. Do not assume that a generic pin tool or screwdriver is appropriate. If you want to adjust it yourself, identify the exact watch and bracelet and follow instructions specific to them; otherwise, use a qualified Breitling service channel.
