Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsTo avoid overpaying for a G-SHOCK collaboration, settle three things before you compare prices: the exact model reference, what the price actually includes, and what the same reference has recently sold for in the same condition. Casio’s official retail price is a starting point, not a fair value, and a sold-out collaboration can trade well above or below its original price depending on the model, condition, and completeness of the set.
Start by identifying the exact reference
Many collaborations are built on the same base silhouette. The DW-5600 shape, for example, appears in many different G-SHOCK releases, so the shape alone does not tell you which watch you are looking at. Two watches that look nearly identical can have different references, different included parts, and different collaboration partners.
Record the partner name and the full model number printed on the listing or on the caseback. Then cross-check that reference against Casio’s collaboration archive or the product page for that model. If the listing’s reference does not match an official Casio page, treat that as a reason to ask the seller questions before going further.
Use the official price as an anchor, not a valuation
Casio’s U.S. G-SHOCK limited collection displays a price and a stock status for each model. At the time of checking in 2026, the thisisneverthat DW5600TNT-7 was listed at $155 on that collection page. Two points matter here. First, the figure is a U.S. retail price shown on Casio’s site, so it does not apply to other currencies or regions without adjustment. Second, the listed price says nothing about what a sold-out model should cost on the secondary market. Other models in the same collection carry different displayed prices and stock states, so one model’s price should not be used as a yardstick for the whole category.

Check what the price actually buys
Collaboration packaging and accessories change what you are paying for. A watch-only listing and a complete-set listing are not the same product, even when the photos look similar. Casio’s own product descriptions show how much the details can vary:
| Model (Casio reference) | Design and inclusions described by Casio | Displayed U.S. price |
|---|---|---|
| thisisneverthat DW5600TNT-7 | Built on the DW-5600 with translucent resin, an inverted LCD, phosphorescent bezel detailing, and collaboration-branded packaging. Casio’s text reads: “Built on the DW-5600, the design carries the iconic shape of the very first G-SHOCK.” | $155 (Casio U.S. collection page, accessed 2026) |
| J Balvin DWE5600JB1A9 | Interchangeable yellow and black bezel and band components, special engraving, LED design, and special packaging. Confirm that a listing includes the bezel and band sets it advertises. | Not stated (Casio product page) |
| beautiful people GM-S2110BP-5A | Resin band printed to resemble leather, 200-meter water resistance, and world time. The styling changes the look while the underlying watch remains a functional G-SHOCK. | Not stated (Casio product page) |
When two listings show the same reference, the cheaper one may simply be missing the extra bezel, band, or packaging that the other includes. Write down exactly which parts each listing claims, then price only the items that are truly present.

Compare listings on equal terms
Once the reference is confirmed, compare offers on the same basis. A fair comparison uses these fields:
- Reference and region: the exact model number and the market the watch was sold in.
- Condition: new and unworn, used, or modified. Treat these as separate categories.
- Completeness: whether the box, paperwork, spare bezel, spare band, and special packaging are included.
- Seller type: professional dealer or private seller.
- Return and authenticity terms: the specific period and process the marketplace offers.
- Total delivered cost: the item price plus shipping, tax, and any import charges.
Price a sold-out model from completed sales
For a model that is no longer sold by Casio, active asking prices are the least reliable guide. Sellers can list at any number, and an unsold listing shows only what someone hopes to get. Look instead at recent completed transactions for the same reference, in similar condition, with the same included items.

- This is an additional color of the DW-H5600 series that is useful in daily life in G-SHOCK's sports line "G-SQUAD". Equipped with an optical sensor that can measure heart rate and an acceleration sensor that can measure steps to help you workout.
No dependable, model-specific series of completed-sale prices for G-SHOCK collaborations is available from the sources this guide relies on, and no typical collaboration premium has been established. That means there is no numerical fair value to quote here. If a seller asks well above the completed sales you can find for an equivalent watch, the gap is the question to resolve, not a premium to accept. Scarcity wording such as “limited” by itself does not show that a higher price is justified.
Understand what seller protection does and does not cover
Where you buy affects how much recourse you have. Chrono24, one large marketplace for pre-owned watches, publishes separate terms for professional-dealer and private-seller transactions:

- Compact, streamlined, stylish — the GMA-P2100 sparkles like the summer sun.
- Treated with polarized vapor deposition, the watch glass delivers a sun-drenched summertime vibe with colors that change with a tilt of the wrist. Paired with a translucent case and band, the design evokes the light, refreshing feel of a summer resort.
- The compact design fits smaller wrists with total comfort. This special design will take you wherever you want to go — from everyday fun to high fashion.
- Each timepiece features a unique gradation of hues due to the nature of the special vapour deposition process applied to the glass. Note that, depending on the ambient light, the dial may be difficult to read at certain viewing angles.
- Case size (L× W× H)
- Purchases from professional dealers have a 14-day period to report authenticity concerns under Chrono24’s Buyer Protection terms.
- Private-seller purchases are covered by different protections, so read those terms before paying.
- Eligible listings can use a watchmaker certification route, according to Chrono24’s terms.
These are one platform’s rules, not a general guarantee for every watch sale. Confirm the current terms on the marketplace before you buy, because they can change.

Ask for photos of the actual watch, the caseback, the included bezel and band pieces, and the packaging. Compare the visible collaboration features with Casio’s official page for that reference, including the colors, engraving, and the shape of the resin or LED details. Matching details are encouraging, but they do not prove authenticity on their own. A seller’s documentation, the marketplace’s authentication process, and the return terms carry more weight than any single visual check.

- The black and red of the LCD is inspired by the game’s ubiquitous 24-second shot clock.
A buying sequence that avoids overpaying
- Record the partner name and full reference, then confirm it on Casio’s collaboration archive or the model’s product page.
- Note the displayed retail price and stock status for your region, and treat that figure only as a reference point.
- List exactly what is included: bezel, band, packaging, paperwork, and any extras.
- Compare recent completed sales for the same reference, condition, and completeness.
- Calculate total delivered cost, including shipping, tax, and import charges.
- Check the seller type and the return and authenticity terms before paying.
- Pay a premium only when the design, partner, or complete set is worth it to you personally, and the price is supported by comparable completed sales.
When the model is sold out
If the model is no longer available from Casio, look for it on the secondary market, where a marketplace’s buyer protection terms matter most. Check whether the listing includes the same reference and completeness as the model you want. If a seller cannot provide clear photos and documentation, the price difference is not worth the risk, however attractive the listing looks.
